What is worth choosing
When visiting Royal Caribbean Bakery, the undisputed star of the show is the Jamaican patty. Whether you prefer the savory beef, the seasoned chicken, or the vegetable options, the patties here are worth choosing for their distinctively flaky crust and well-spiced fillings. To elevate the experience to a true New York-Caribbean classic, it is highly recommended to pair your patty with a fresh loaf of coco bread. Wrapping the hot, spicy patty inside the soft, cool coco bread creates a contrast of textures and flavors that has made this combination a favorite across the five boroughs and beyond.
For those looking for a more substantial meal, the Oxtail meal is a standout choice. It is frequently cited by regulars as a delicious and satisfying option, featuring tender, slow-cooked meat that falls off the bone, typically served with traditional sides like rice and peas. While the menu includes other poultry options like curry chicken, the Oxtail remains a premier selection for those seeking a deep, rich flavor. It is always a wise idea to double-check your order before leaving the counter to ensure your specific preferences—such as the spice level or specific meal choice—are met, especially during busy peak hours. Choosing Royal Caribbean Bakery means opting for a piece of the Caribbean right in Mount Vernon, providing a flavorful break from the ordinary with every visit. Between the iconic snacks and the heavy-duty lunch plates, there is something to satisfy every level of hunger with an authentic island flair.

I love their patties, coco bread, and ox tails meal. The food is good and sometimes you get a nice person. The cashier's could be a little nicer.

Their food is really good. Small quaint place. Some great spots are the smaller non-commercial ones. Love the fish here!

They have fair prices and are very generous with portions they give you for their price. For example their mini dishes are actually small sized in comparison to other restaurant and their medium are actually large. The food taste good and delicious and always taste fresh. There always crowded that how you know the food taste good . They have the best fried chicken I've ever tasted .They need to work serving food al faster but other than they are awesome.

Food is usually very tasty and the portions are good. The is a difference in chefs, however, you can always tell when Chef Linton Shirley cooks. His food is of impeccable taste. Customer service by the ladies need to step up a notch, especially their telephone manners.
