Auntie Anne's Introduce
In the heart of one of New York City's most bustling shopping destinations, Auntie Anne's at the Queens Center Mall serves as a familiar and aromatic retreat for thousands of daily visitors. For New Yorkers navigating the multi-level retail giant in Elmhurst, the scent of golden-brown butter and toasted cinnamon is a signature part of the shopping experience. This particular location caters to a diverse crowd of locals from Rego Park, Woodside, and Corona, providing a quick, consistent, and satisfying snack that has become a staple of American mall culture. Whether you are taking a break from a long day of retail therapy or grabbing a treat before catching the subway, this bakery outpost focuses on the simple joy of hand-rolled dough and classic flavors.
Auntie Anne's has built a global reputation by perfecting the art of the soft pretzel, and the Queens Center Mall location brings that standardized quality to the local community. The operation is designed for speed and convenience, fitting the fast-paced lifestyle of Queens residents. Unlike a traditional sit-down bakery, this "grab-and-go" station emphasizes transparency in its process; shoppers can often see the dough being stretched, twisted, and baked right before their eyes. This commitment to "fresh from the oven" service ensures that every pretzel maintains that specific texture New Yorkers have come to expect: a slightly crisp outer shell with a soft, pillowy interior that melts with every bite.
Location and Accessibility
The bakery is strategically situated at 90-15 Queens Blvd Space 1033, Queens, NY 11373, USA. Located within the Queens Center Mall, it occupies a high-traffic area (Space 1033) that is easily accessible regardless of which entrance you use to enter the complex. For those traveling by public transportation—the preferred method for many locals—the mall is exceptionally well-connected. It sits directly atop the Woodhaven Blvd station, which is serviced by the M and R subway lines. This makes the bakery a convenient stop for commuters traveling between Manhattan and Eastern Queens.
For those arriving by car, the mall offers extensive parking garage facilities, though, as any local knows, navigating Queens Boulevard can be a task during peak hours. Once inside, the bakery is positioned to serve shoppers on the move. Its location within a climate-controlled environment makes it a year-round destination, providing a warm snack during harsh New York winters and a refreshing lemonade during the humid summer months. The mall itself is fully ADA-compliant, ensuring that the bakery's counter is accessible to all guests, including those with strollers or mobility aids. For locals living in the 11373 zip code, this Auntie Anne's is a reliable neighborhood fixture found within one of the borough's most significant landmarks.

What is worth choosing
If you are stopping by the Queens Center Mall location, the most consistent crowd-pleaser is the bucket of Cinnamon Sugar Pretzel Bites. These are particularly favored by those who enjoy a sweet treat that isn't as heavy as a full pastry. The bites are coated in a generous layer of sugar and spice, offering a satisfying crunch followed by a doughy center. For the best experience, many local regulars suggest pairing these with the sweet glaze dipping sauce to enhance the dessert-like quality of the snack. It is worth noting that while the bites are generally soft, some customers find the dough to be quite dense; if you prefer a lighter texture, you might opt for the traditional original salted pretzel, which often carries a slightly more airy bake.
For those who prefer a savory profile, the Pepperoni Pretzel or the Pretzel Dog provides a more filling alternative that works well as a quick lunch. To wash it all down, the original lemonade is a mandatory accompaniment—it is tart, cold, and specifically formulated to cut through the richness of the buttered dough. When visiting this specific location, keep in mind that the environment is high-energy and fast-paced. Some visitors have noted that the menu monitors can occasionally be out of sync, so it is a good idea to ask the staff about daily availability if a specific item isn't visible. While the service is geared toward speed, taking a moment to ensure your pretzels are served warm will make all the difference in the world. Whether you're a white-collar professional from Manhattan or a student from nearby Elmhurst, a warm pretzel from Space 1033 remains a simple, quintessential Queens indulgence.

Stopped by for a quick bite, and for the SECOND TIME I was served by and encountered with the nasty, racist Philippine Asian female. I’m not saying this for no reason, except that she called my accent “un-understanding” and called me—a white European—an Indian! And let’s face it: if it were vice versa, I’d be on the first page of the NY Post! Even though I am visiting (or even if I weren’t), she had no right, for the second time, to be so rude and nasty—calling out my accent and offending my European heritage. She is a horrible employee and horribly incompetent at anything. I wouldn’t trust her to watch my independent cat, least I would let alone run a food and customer service station! I’m a highly educated woman and I understand that a food stand where she comes from, what is a whatever you call that thing with, and that she won ( in her mind) in America- what she could never achieve anywhere else - selling out cinnamon rolls!! ; but she should learn and understand that even us - a white people with an accent have education and bigger life than that # in depending on purchasing cinnamon rolls or being offended for having slightly different un- Philippine accent or as she called it out -an Indian . Got a bucket of cinnamon sugar pretzel bites. Service was quick but some of the monitors were broken so it was hard to see what was available on the menu. 🥨 The pretzel bites were pretty soft but a bit too doughy I feel. Maybe a lighter bread texture would be better? Still good to have but wish it was warmer!

I am a regular customer and often visit this place with my children. During our last visit, one of the employees made inappropriate and discriminatory comments, saying that I am a “white non-American” while claiming she is a “real American.” This behavior was rude, unprofessional, and made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. Such comments have no place in customer service, especially in a family-oriented environment. I hope the management will take this seriously.

I couldn't find the location above the food court in the mall, so unfortunately, I have to leave it at this location. This is in regards to that location right in front of mid entrance by the cheesecake factory. It was bad enough that I paid over $10 for a small cup of stale pretzel nuggets, but to find a hair at the bottom of it. Immediately spit out the chunk I was eating. Hopefully, I won't get sick, but I won't be buying here anymore. I suggest anyone to stay away and buy somewhere else.
