TIGER SUGAR BAKERY (QUEENS CENTER MALL) Introduce
In the bustling heart of Elmhurst, New York, situated within one of the borough’s most iconic shopping destinations, Tiger Sugar Bakery (Queens Center Mall) brings the world-renowned flavors of the "brave as a tiger" brand to local shoppers. Known internationally for revolutionizing the boba industry with its signature "tiger stripes" of brown sugar syrup, this specific location combines the brand's legendary beverage expertise with a selection of specialty bakery items. For New Yorkers navigating the multi-level retail paradise of Queens Center, Tiger Sugar Bakery serves as a vital pit stop for those seeking a high-quality, Instagram-worthy treat that tastes as good as it looks.
Tiger Sugar's rise to global fame began in Taichung, Taiwan, and its expansion into the New York market has been met with significant enthusiasm, particularly in diverse neighborhoods like Elmhurst. The "Bakery" iteration of the brand emphasizes a multi-sensory experience, offering not only the classic visual appeal of their hand-poured syrup but also a tactile and olfactory experience through their snacks and pastries. As a kiosk-based establishment, it operates with the speed and efficiency expected in a high-traffic New York mall environment, aiming to satisfy the cravings of loyal patrons who have followed the brand from its flagship locations in Flushing and Canal Street.
Location and Accessibility
Tiger Sugar Bakery is strategically located at 90-15 Queens Blvd Kiosk #105, Elmhurst, NY 11373, USA. What is worth choosing
When visiting Tiger Sugar Bakery, the absolute "must-try" item is the Brown Sugar Boba Milk with Cream Mousse. This is the drink that launched a thousand imitations and remains the gold standard for the brand. The combination of the warm, syrupy boba at the bottom with the cold, rich milk and the velvety cream mousse on top creates a multi-layered flavor profile that is truly unique. Before drinking, remember the "Tiger Sugar ritual": shake the drink exactly 15 times to blend the layers and the brown sugar syrup perfectly into the milk, ensuring every sip is balanced.
For those looking to explore the bakery side of the menu, keep an eye out for their specialty pastries which often feature the same signature brown sugar flavor found in the drinks. If you prefer something slightly less rich than the milk-based drinks, their black tea or green tea lattes with brown sugar boba offer a more tea-forward experience while still retaining that signature sweetness. It is worth noting that during peak mall hours, the wait times can increase as drinks are made to order, and popular items like the boba pearls may sell out towards the end of the evening. To ensure the best experience, visiting during mid-day or early evening is recommended. While individual service experiences can vary, the consistency of the Tiger Sugar recipe remains the primary reason this kiosk is a favorite for boba aficionados in Elmhurst. If you are a fan of the brand's other locations, this kiosk provides a convenient way to get your fix while accomplishing your shopping errands at Queens Center.
Ultimately, Tiger Sugar Bakery at Queens Center Mall is about more than just a drink; it is about an international dessert tradition brought to the doorstep of Queens residents. It remains a top choice for anyone in the New York region looking for a high-quality, flavorful, and visually striking treat.

TIGER SUGAR BAKERY (QUEENS CENTER MALL) Reviews

I’ve been a loyal Tiger Sugar customer for years and love the locations in Flushing and Canal Street, but the experience at the Queens Center Mall has been nothing but frustrating. Tonight, I arrived at 7:45 PM—well before closing time at 9 PM—and, as usual, the employee refused to serve customers. This has happened repeatedly over the past month, at least 4-5 times. He’s always on his phone, ignoring customers, with the TV menu turned off. Every time, he gives excuses like “we’re closed” or “nothing on the menu is available,” often blaming the lack of boba to avoid making drinks. It’s clear he has no interest in doing his job or serving customers, and this level of negligence is unacceptable. Tiger Sugar is known for its quality drinks and service, but this location’s employee is tarnishing the brand. The management needs to step in and address this immediately. Customers should not have to deal with this kind of unprofessionalism. Please take action—this is beyond frustrating and disrespectful to your loyal patrons.

Do not go here unless you want terrible service. I ordered my drink at 6:48. Took 20 minutes to make my drink. The person at the register was doing both taking orders and making drinks. She had to tell the man there to help. The man was blowing his nose (no tissue) in the sink. VERY unsanitary. He also washed blenders and utensils with his hands and water no soap or anything sanitary. JUST NASTY!

I live close by and I pretty much go to this location 2-3 times a month. This location employee is very rude. He’s always on his phone and whenever you will try to make any modifications, like make it warm, or less ice- he always says no in a rude way as if no other location does that. I started going to flushing location for this rude attitude of this employee. And no other location ever behaves like that and always modify as asked with extra charge. They should definitely get rid of this employee as soon as possible. Picture added below from the 3 hours I was in mall, and the whole time he was on his phone. And every time a customer goes to him, he makes it feel like they did a big crime for distributing him at his job.

The taste wasn’t that great, and the boba was extremely tiny—I could barely feel it. Compared to other locations, the quality here at the QCM one was definitely lower. The other branches have much better boba. Waste my money never going back again

The lady that served me was very nice, since it was the end of the day she offered me a free tart. Their varying combinations of flavors are amazing !!!! That’s my go to boba shop everytime I go to Queens Center !!! 😁🧋
