Paris Baguette Introduce
In the heart of Manhattan’s Upper West Side, where the pace of life is fast and the demand for high-quality breakfast is even faster, Paris Baguette stands out as a premier destination for pastry lovers. Located at 2568 Broadway, this bakery has become a neighborhood staple, offering a unique fusion of French-inspired baking techniques with a modern, global flair. For residents of the 10025 zip code, this isn't just a place to grab a quick snack; it is a reliable culinary hub where the aroma of freshly baked bread and roasted coffee provides a welcoming start to the day. Whether you are a local heading to work or a visitor exploring the historic architecture of the West Side, this bakery offers a consistent and high-quality experience that captures the essence of a modern New York bakeshop.
Paris Baguette is widely recognized for its "self-serve" style, which allows customers to browse a vast array of treats at their own pace. This interactive experience is particularly appealing to New Yorkers who value both variety and efficiency. The shop's interior is designed to be cozy and inviting, featuring warm lighting and neatly organized display cases that showcase everything from savory sandwiches to decadently decorated cakes. In a neighborhood where competition for the title of "best pastry shop" is fierce, the Broadway location has secured its place by maintaining a high standard of freshness and an impressive breadth of options that cater to every palate, from the sugar-craving student to the office professional seeking a balanced lunch.
Location and Accessibility
One of the strongest assets of this Paris Baguette location is its strategic positioning at 2568 Broadway, New York, NY 10025. It is situated on the southeast corner of Broadway and West 96th Street, placing it in one of the most accessible corridors of the Upper West Side. This intersection is a major transit hub, making the bakery an ideal "pit stop" for thousands of commuters daily. The shop is directly adjacent to the 96th Street subway station, which serves the 1, 2, and 3 lines. This means that whether you are coming from the Upper East Side via the 96th Street crosstown bus (M96) or traveling from downtown on the express train, you are only steps away from a fresh croissant.
Accessibility for pedestrians is equally seamless. The wide sidewalks of Broadway allow for easy foot traffic, and the shop’s prominent corner location makes it nearly impossible to miss. For those living in the nearby pre-war apartment buildings or the modern high-rises that characterize this part of town, Paris Baguette serves as a convenient local pantry for baked goods. While street parking in this area is notoriously difficult—as is standard for Manhattan—the proximity to public transportation and the high density of residential housing ensure that the shop remains a bustling center of activity throughout the day. Its location also makes it a perfect starting point for a walk toward Riverside Park or Central Park, both of which are within comfortable walking distance.

What is worth choosing
When faced with the hundreds of options in the glass cases of Paris Baguette, a few items have risen to the top of the "must-try" list for local residents. If you are a fan of textures, the Croissant Donuts are a popular choice. While local connoisseurs note they are a distinct experience from the original "Cronut" found in Soho, they offer a delicious, flaky, and sugary treat that pairs perfectly with a morning latte. For those who prefer fruit-forward pastries, the Strawberry Croissant—filled with smooth custard cream and fresh berries—is a consistent favorite that looks as good as it tastes.
Chocolate lovers should not miss the Chocolate Supreme Croissant, which is often cited as a standout for its rich filling and crisp exterior. Beyond the sweets, the bakery’s sandwiches on fresh-baked baguettes are an excellent choice for a midday meal; they offer a level of bread quality that is hard to find in a standard deli. While prices can be slightly higher than a typical bodega, the quality of the ingredients and the refined preparation justify the cost for many Upper West Siders. Whether you are looking for a quick morning treat, a reliable cup of coffee, or a decadent cake to celebrate a milestone, Paris Baguette at 2568 Broadway delivers a premium experience that remains worth a visit in the heart of one of New York's most iconic neighborhoods.

This is the best pastry shop in this part of the Upper West Side. A huge variety and everything has been delicious. I also like to come here for coffee and sandwiches. I like the croissant donuts, but it's not nearly as good as the original "Cronut' at Dominique Ansel in SOHO. I also like the strawberry croissant, filled with custard cream, and the chocolate supreme croissant. Yum!

A cozy spot with fresh pastries and reliable coffee. The variety is impressive, though prices can be a bit high. Service is friendly, but it can get crowded during peak hours. Overall, a great place for a quick treat, with a warm atmosphere and quality baked goods. Worth a visit!

Needed to stop for a quick bite on our way to Bryant Park and so we stopped in the Paris baguette on Broadway in midtown. Everything was amazing from sweet to savory you cannot go wrong

I love paris baguette for their pastries and I've tried the tiramisu cake a long time ago and it was really good. I order the cake and it was a little disappointing it barely had any bread it was mostly cream it was overwhelming I also missed the chocolate dust they used to put on it instead of huge pieces of chocolate shavings. I hope they change their recipe becuase not kidding it has a lot of cream you can see the picture how thick is the cream on the outer layers the middle was really good wish it had more.

The triple chocolate chip cookies are genuinely delicious—but if you want them, order in person. I ordered through Uber Eats, excited to share them with family, but three cookies were missing from the order. The receipt shows those items were voided by the store, yet the charge remained pending for the full amount and ultimately settled without reflecting the voided items. Uber later advised that the refund window had closed. Adding to the confusion, this location sells the cookies for about $2 less per cookie than the W 58th & 10th Ave location ($2.75 vs. $4.99). The price discrepancy is hard to understand. Overall, disappointing experience. The upside is that it’s a great reminder that a 530-calorie cookie is easy to give up—consider this my reason for quitting cold turkey in 2025
