What is worth choosing
When visiting Punto Sabroso Bakery, the most essential choice for any patron is the selection of traditional Colombian arepas. Unlike the thinner varieties found in other cultures, these arepas are thick, satisfying, and reminiscent of home-style cooking. They serve as the perfect vessel for a variety of toppings or can be enjoyed on their own as a testament to the bakery's mastery of corn-based dough. For many locals, these arepas represent a nostalgic link to Colombian heritage and are a primary reason for the bakery's consistent popularity in the Cypress Hills area.
Additionally, the coffee service is highly worth choosing. Colombian coffee is world-renowned for its balance and richness, and Punto Sabroso Bakery takes pride in serving a cup that complements their sweet and savory pastries perfectly. Whether you are pairing it with a buñuelo or a slice of traditional cake, the coffee provides the necessary lift to start a New York morning. For those who enjoy a lively, authentic atmosphere, choosing to eat-in at one of the few available tables offers a unique perspective on the neighborhood's daily rhythm. By choosing Punto Sabroso Bakery, you are supporting a local business that has remained a steadfast provider of flavor and culture for nearly a decade. The combination of low prices, authentic recipes, and a convenient location makes it a top-tier choice for anyone seeking a genuine Colombian bakery experience in Brooklyn.
In summary, Punto Sabroso Bakery at 3449 Fulton St is a vital part of the Brooklyn culinary tapestry. It offers a no-frills, authentic experience that prioritizes the flavors of Colombia above all else. While the hustle and bustle of a busy New York bakery can be intense, the reward is a taste of something truly special that can't be found in a standard supermarket. For residents of 11208 and beyond, this bakery remains a reliable destination for quality, affordability, and tradition. If you find yourself on Fulton Street, a stop at Punto Sabroso is an excellent way to experience the local culture and enjoy some of the best traditional baked goods the borough has to offer.

It's sad to say that I am Hispanic as well we should all show love from one another We Are All One but these two women prefer to serve their own kind the way they give you back the money the way they give you the bag it was a big line she wanted to give me one of the buñuelos with a piece of hair on it I told her out loud there's a piece of black hair she talks to me very nasty and said Senora you need to be quiet you don't have to say it out loud then the other lady was outside cleaning the windows went back inside and didn't even wash her hands to serve the customers

Pretty new spot. Been here since October 2016. Great coffee and baked goods. There foods are delicious also. The arepas are pretty traditional(Colombian). Friendly service. Great low prices. They do have seating.(3 tables) Gets busy quickly. Its about time they added a Colombian spot in Cypress Hills. Most important of all. It is alway cleaned.

The place feel unsure once I got into the bakery. The coffee is good ( it’s not poor taste). The bakery and meals are good. It’s a local small place to stay in to eat and relax or for dinning. Try it and you will like it.

They charge more if they realize you don't speak Spanish. My dad, who does speak spanish, bought a baked good from here for $3. The next day, when I went, they found out I only speak English, and charged me $4 for the same baked good.

I will never order from here again. I went to order and wanted to confirm they had the soup I wanted. Lady told me no, they had a different type of soup. I said ok but on Grubhub you don’t have that listed but ok I’m going to order right now. I go back on Grubhub and it shows that they only have the original soul I wanted. I thought ok, I just spoke to the lady not one minute ago she knows I want the soul that they have today. Well order gets here and there is no soup. I call her back to ask why there is no soup. She tells me that she told me that they didn’t have that soup and I reminded her that I told her that the soup that they did have isn’t listed on grub hub. She kept a going around in circles. Never again. The soup was the ENTIRE reason why I ordered from them. Oh the food was mediocre at best.
