Rollin Bagels (Food Truck) Introduce
In a city where the bagel is a sacred culinary icon, it takes a bold vision to reinvent the classic breakfast sandwich. Rollin Bagels, a standout food truck operating in the heart of Long Island City, has done exactly that by blending traditional New York bagel craftsmanship with vibrant Asian flavors. This mobile eatery has quickly become a sensation among local foodies and commuters in Queens, offering a creative departure from the standard cream cheese schmear. By introducing ingredients like char siu, kimchi, and chili oil into the bagel landscape, Rollin Bagels has carved out a unique niche that captures the multicultural spirit of contemporary New York City.
The concept of Rollin Bagels transcends the typical "grab-and-go" breakfast experience. It represents a culinary fusion where East meets West on a perfectly toasted plain or everything bagel. For residents and workers in the Court Square area, the arrival of this food truck is a highlight of the morning, signaled by the aromatic scent of savory roasted meats and spicy condiments. The truck has gained significant social media traction, drawing visitors from across the boroughs and even as far as Jersey City, all eager to taste the innovative combinations that have made this spot a viral hit. It is a professional operation that manages to maintain the friendly, communal vibe of a neighborhood food truck while delivering high-end, chef-driven flavors.
One of the defining characteristics of Rollin Bagels is its commitment to texture and quality. In the competitive New York bagel market, the foundation of the sandwich—the bagel itself—must be beyond reproach. Patrons frequently remark on the excellent balance of their bagels: fluffy and soft on the inside with that essential, satisfying crunch on the outer crust. This high standard of baking provides the perfect canvas for their bold, savory toppings. Whether you are a fan of traditional Cantonese roast meats or Korean fermented staples, the menu at Rollin Bagels is designed to surprise and delight the palate, proving that even a New York classic has room for a little international flair.
Location and Accessibility
Rollin Bagels is primarily located at 3 Court Square West, Long Island City, NY 11101, USA. This central location in the Court Square district makes it an incredibly convenient stop for the thousands of professionals, students, and residents who navigate this busy Queens hub daily. The truck is positioned within easy walking distance of several major subway lines, including the 7, G, E, and M trains at the Court Square-23rd St station, making it a perfect destination for those starting their morning commute into Manhattan or across Brooklyn.
As a food truck, its accessibility is inherently tied to the street-level energy of Long Island City. It is a visible and welcoming presence on the sidewalk, often identifiable by a short, fast-moving line of hungry locals. For those navigating the area by foot, it is a seamless addition to a morning routine. While street parking in Long Island City can be competitive, the truck’s proximity to public transit and major office buildings like the One Court Square tower ensures that it remains reachable for a wide audience. It is important for visitors to check their current operating schedule, as food truck locations and hours can occasionally shift based on local events or weather conditions, though Court Square West remains their primary anchor point.

What is worth choosing
If you are lucky enough to visit during one of their specialty runs, the "Char Seoul Bagel" is the absolute must-try item. This collaboration with Hay Hay Roasted has become legendary among LIC locals. The sweetness of the char siu pork is perfectly balanced by the sharp, fermented tang of the kimchi and the creeping heat of the chili oil. It is a complex, multi-layered experience that elevates the humble bagel into a gourmet meal. Many regulars recommend choosing a plain bagel for this specific sandwich to ensure that the intricate flavors of the pork and spices are not overshadowed by a heavily seasoned bagel.
On the regular menu, the bagel sandwiches featuring SPAM are a top-tier choice for those who enjoy a salty, savory kick to their breakfast. It is a fantastic alternative for anyone looking to step away from the standard bacon, egg, and cheese. Another tip for first-timers: don't be afraid of the chili oil. It is carefully drizzled to provide a warm glow of heat that ties the egg and cheese together beautifully. Whether you are there for a limited-time collaboration or a regular menu staple, the combination of perfectly fluffy bagels and bold Asian-inspired fillings makes Rollin Bagels one of the most exciting food destinations in Long Island City. It is a true "dream come true" for anyone who loves the intersection of different culinary cultures.

Let’s hope the char siu, kimchi, egg, and cheese bagel makes a comeback in the future … Last weekend, I saw they launched a special collab with Hay Hay Roasted for this limited-time “Char Seoul Bagel.” As a Hong Kong girl who loves bagels and char siu, this was literally a dream come true. I traveled all the way from JC to LIC and I was SO OBSESSED with it!!! It was basically a Hong Kong and Korean-inspired BEC. My taste buds sang at the first bite. It was layered with a fair amount of sweet and savory char siu, kimchi, pepper jack, egg, and a drizzle of chili oil. I went with their recommended plain bagel so the flavors could really shine. The bagel itself was perfectly fluffy on the inside with a crunch on the outside. If you miss this limited-time collab, don’t worry. They also have bagel sandwiches with SPAM on their regular menu!

We came here on a weekday morning, and there’s a short line waiting. The char-Seoul flavor is interesting. It’s a combination of Hong Kong style pork, Korean kimchi and Chinese chili oil, which is surprisingly blending together well. Would love to come back and try other items in the future.

Great service, friendly staff. Bagels are solid, bacon is perfectly crispy, eggs were fluffy. For the bagel sandwich you have to choose the options, so if it’s first time be sure to ask what they recommend. Bagel sandwich with 2 eggs cheese and meat came out to about $7

Favorite bagels in NYC! They’re just consistently delicious. Love their bacon cream cheese, which has big chunks of crispy bacon. When I’m really hungry, I go for a BECSPK with a hash brown on an everything bagel. And service is great! Quentin and his crew are the best and they really get to know their customers. Never disappoints 🥯

Hands down the best bagels I’ve found. Love the BEC! Super fast and big. You can find them around Court Square or in front of Trader Joe’s. The guys are super friendly and great to support. 10/10 recommend.
