PARCEROS BAKERY II Introduce
In the bustling, multicultural landscape of Astoria, Queens, finding a spot that offers genuine cultural authenticity alongside modern convenience is a win for any local. Parceros Bakery II has quickly established itself as a cornerstone for those seeking the true flavors of Colombia without leaving the neighborhood. Located on the vibrant 30th Avenue, this bakery and cafe brings the warmth of South American hospitality to one of New York City’s most iconic culinary corridors. Whether you are a morning commuter looking for a high-quality caffeine fix or a food enthusiast hunting for traditional holiday specialties like Natilla, Parceros Bakery II serves as a vital bridge to Colombian tradition.
The shop manages to balance the energy of a fast-paced New York barista station with the soul of a family-run "panadería." While the storefront might appear modest to a casual passerby, the interior hums with the activity of a kitchen dedicated to precision and heat. In a city where "authentic" is often used loosely, Parceros Bakery II earns the title through its commitment to traditional recipes and the use of high-quality ingredients. From the savory crunch of a perfectly fried empanada to the soft, cheesy pull of a fresh arepa, the menu is a curated journey through Colombia’s rich culinary heritage. For residents of Astoria, it is not just a place to eat; it is a reliable local hub where the food is always "piping hot" and the service comes with a genuine smile.
Location and Accessibility
Parceros Bakery II is strategically situated at 30-15 30th Ave., Astoria, NY 11102, USA. This location is one of its most significant assets, as it sits in the immediate vicinity of the 30th Avenue subway station (serving the N and W trains). For New Yorkers, convenience is king, and being able to grab a traditional Colombian breakfast or a fresh pastry right before hopping on the train makes this bakery a daily destination for many. Its position on 30th Avenue puts it in the heart of Astoria’s social life, surrounded by other local businesses, making it an easy addition to any weekend stroll or daily routine.
The accessibility of the bakery extends beyond its proximity to transit. As a local neighborhood spot, it is easily reachable for those living in the residential blocks of Astoria and Woodside. The shop’s presence on a major thoroughfare ensures it is easy to find, even for those visiting from other boroughs. While the area is known for its heavy foot traffic, the bakery is designed to handle both the grab-and-go commuter rush and the customer who prefers to sit in the back and enjoy a quiet meal. Its welcoming storefront serves as an inviting entry point into the diverse flavors that define the Astoria community.

Features / Highlights
The experience at Parceros Bakery II is defined by several standout features that reflect its dedication to quality and its Colombian roots. Highlights include:

- Homestyle Cooking: The food is described by regulars as "on point," with rice and beans prepared to a perfect texture and flavor profile.
- Signature Picante Sauce: For those who enjoy a kick, the house-made hot sauce is genuinely spicy and adds a perfect layer of flavor to savory snacks.
- Friendly Atmosphere: The staff is frequently praised for their cheerful and accommodating service, creating a "homely" feel in the middle of a busy city.

What is worth choosing
If you are looking for a recommendation at Parceros Bakery II, the savory snacks and traditional breads are the absolute must-haves. The "Arepa con Queso" is a fan favorite, praised for its authentic corn flavor and generous cheese. For those visiting during the morning hours, the #4 Breakfast (Rice and Beans with Eggs) is widely considered a "perfect" meal that is both filling and flavorful. The texture of the beans and the freshness of the rice set a high standard for local Colombian fare.
Special attention should be paid to their seasonal offerings. If you are lucky enough to visit during the holiday season, the "Natilla" (Colombian Christmas Custard) is described as "absolutely phenomenal" and provides a rare, authentic taste of Colombian tradition in Queens. For a simple snack, the beef empanadas paired with their signature picante sauce offer a satisfying crunch and heat. Finally, don't leave without a bag of their assorted breads; they are perfect for breakfast the next morning or as a thoughtful gift for others. Choosing Parceros Bakery II means choosing a meal made with care, served hot, and delivered with the kind of hospitality that makes you feel like a "parcero" (friend) from your very first visit.

I stopped in as it is the most convenient “AUTHENTIC COLUMBIAN” barista/cafe right at the train station! Today I grabbed “Natilla” a Colombian Christmas Custard! It tasted absolutely phenomenal !

This modest storefront looks like any other but... the food is on point! I got the #4 breakfast and the rice&beans that arrived was perfect. The picante hotsauce was actually hot. I love the arepa con queso though it would be optimal to let the cheese melt a little bit more. Most importantly, the food was PIPING HOT! It's been a deep freeze lately, easier said than done. The staff cheerfully gave me a reheat on some items that got cold as I was eating. The only other thing: no decaf coffee. It's a real south american place, I understand. The breads are worth buying up and taking home to your friends and family.
