YULONDA'S EDIBLE SENSATIONS, LLC Introduce
In the heart of the South Bronx, where the energy of the city meets deep cultural roots, Yulonda’s Edible Sensations, LLC (often known simply as Y.E.S. Desserts) has been redefining the artisanal bakery experience since its inception. Founded by Chef Yulonda Ruiz, a classically trained chef and nutritionist, this boutique dessert company is more than just a place to satisfy a sugar craving. It is a culinary bridge that connects the soulful traditions of Southern American soul food with the vibrant, bold flavors of Latin heritage. For New Yorkers looking for "comfort and love in every bite," this M/WBE certified business offers a sophisticated yet nostalgic menu that reminds patrons of the treats mom or grandma used to make, but with a modern, high-end twist.
Chef Yulonda’s pedigree is reflected in every small batch. Having trained at the Art Institute of New York and refined her skills in the world-renowned kitchen of Jean Georges, she brings five-star precision to neighborhood favorites. The bakery operates with a mission to create "edible memories," using locally produced and organic ingredients whenever possible. For the local community in the Bronx and the wider New York region, Yulonda’s Edible Sensations has become a premier choice for those who value diversity, craftsmanship, and a personal touch. Whether it's a graduation, a wedding, or a weekend treat, the bakery’s commitment to quality ensures that every confection is a celebration of culture and connection.
Location and Accessibility
Yulonda’s Edible Sensations is located at 50 E 168th St, Bronx, NY 10452, USA. Situated in the Highbridge/Concourse section of the Bronx, the bakery is nestled in an area rich with history, just blocks away from the iconic Grand Concourse and Yankee Stadium. For local New Yorkers, this location is exceptionally accessible. It is served by several major subway lines, with the 167th St station (B and D trains) and the 4 train at 167th St - Jerome Ave both within walking distance. This makes it a convenient stop for residents of the South Bronx or those commuting from Upper Manhattan.
Beyond its physical storefront, the business is highly mobile and caters to the entire Tri-State area. While the 168th Street location serves as the hub of their creative operations, Yulonda’s is a regular fixture at local markets, such as the Bronx Museum of the Arts Holiday Market and the Brooklyn Navy Yard. For those who prefer the convenience of home delivery, the bakery offers setup and delivery services throughout the five boroughs, provided orders are booked in advance. This flexibility allows patrons from Brooklyn to Queens to experience the "sensations" that have made Chef Yulonda a local household name in the artisanal dessert scene.

What is worth choosing
When ordering from Yulonda’s Edible Sensations, the absolute "must-try" items are the Peach Cobbler and Strawberry Shortcake cookies. Real customers have described these as "weekend-making" treats, often raving about how they cannot stop talking about the flavor. These cookies perfectly encapsulate the bakery's mission: taking a beloved, complex dessert and distilling it into a portable, handmade cookie that retains the richness and soul of the original recipe. For those who enjoy a bit of indulgence, the Blondie dessert is frequently cited as "superb," with every bite described as "filled with happiness."
If you are looking for something with a bit more of a "kick," the Libation-Infused line is a standout choice that sets Yulonda’s apart from standard bakeries. The Coquito Pound Cake and the Jack Daniel’s or Hennessey-infused cupcakes are favorite choices for adult celebrations, offering a sophisticated balance of spirit and sugar. For larger events, it is worth choosing a custom dessert table; Chef Yulonda’s attention to detail ensures that the presentation is as "divine" as the taste. Whether you are grabbing a dozen cookies for an aunt in the Bronx or planning a full-scale wedding cake, choosing anything from the Y.E.S. Desserts menu is a guarantee of a high-quality, memorable experience.
Ultimately, Yulonda's Edible Sensations represents the best of New York’s specialized culinary landscape. It is a place where classical training meets heartfelt tradition, resulting in treats that are as meaningful as they are delicious. For any New Yorker in the Bronx or beyond, this is a local business that truly delivers on its promise of "comfort and love in every bite."

The small Blondie dessert was SUPERB! Every bite was filled with happiness and I had to eat the crumbs to satisfy my sweet tooth.

I ordered a dozen strawberry shortcake cookies and a dozen peach cobbler cookies for two of my aunts in the Bronx last Friday, Yulonda was kind enough to make two separate boxes with 6 of each cookie for each of my aunts, and when I tell you they could not stop talking about how much they loved these cookies all weekend!!! Thank you so much Yulonda...you made both my aunt's weekend. I certainly look forward to doing more business with you in the future.

Yulonda came as a referral. Her customer service is impeccable. I needed to try some regular cupcakes and some infused cupcakes. She had no problem letting me sample different styles of cupcakes and all I can say is “WOW”. Great flavor, melt in your mouth food. I’m so glad she came through as promised. I’ll use her services again, and I highly recommend trying her infused cupcakes. Oh! By the way her vanilla pound cake is to die for.

YES Desserts is so sweet to their customers and their items are even sweeter. I just bought my cookie 2 minutes ago and it's almost gone. So delicious! Definitely recommend!!

My wife and i loved the cake we had for our gender review. The cake was really tasty and her customer service was very professional and on time. We even recommend her services to our families and love one to go only to her for catering.
