I believe this used to the where the Financier was. This is an Australian bakery and coffee shop selling the usual hits and classics like almond croissants and blueberry danishes alongside some unusual treats like mince pies. We enjoyed our baked goods - the banana bread was nice, though slightly burnt outside, and the almond hazelnut croissant was just slightly stodgy, but packed with flavorful and delightfully buttery and crisp outside. The coffee was a solid premade cup, and while it’s a little too expensive to be a regular stop for me it’s a great bakery to stop while travelling.

I come in here quite often and felt compelled to finally leave a well deserved review. There has been quite a turnover in staff over year but these past few months, the service feels so better than before. The staff in the morning is incredibly amazing. They are totally in sync and keep that line moving in midst of a rush. Half the time my latte is done being made before I even step to the register to pay. Everyone here is so kind and lovely. The music is always a vibe and the pastries are a hit. They did raise prices recently I noticed but I still enjoy the pastries and the staff. Always a stop on my way to where I need to be.

Do NOT visit this location if you have food allergies. I literally had to intervene today to prevent someone from buying an item with nuts in it after the employees assured her it was “nut-free.” The item was the chia seed pudding. A customer asked the cashier if it had nuts. They responded that they didn’t know and then another worker chimed in that “there are no nuts it’s just chia seeds and water.” I was standing a few feet away so I called out “no, there’s peanut butter in it!” I had to repeat myself several times before the workers heard me and the woman left without buying it. I’m glad I was able to say something, but this is completely unacceptable. The first two ingredients clearly listed on the label are “peanut butter” and “almond milk.” The workers didn’t seem to care at all, and one literally shrugged at me when I told them they need to be more careful. I used to come to this shop several times a week, and visited the other locations too. Never again!

I bought sourdough bread. I didn't see it before they put it in the bag. When I got home, I realized it was very burned. It really wasn't right to sell a loaf like this.
