What is Worth Choosing
If you are standing at the counter of Broad Nosh for the first time, there are two specific paths that come highly recommended by those in the know. For fans of classic New York deli fare, the White Fish bagel sandwich is an absolute "must-try." It is described by many as incredible, featuring fresh, perfectly seasoned fish that pairs beautifully with the chew of a hand-rolled bagel. It is a sophisticated choice that represents the best of the city’s bagel tradition.
For those seeking something with a bit more of a modern kick, the Everything Bagel with egg, bacon, and chipotle cream cheese is frequently called "out of this world." The smokiness of the chipotle cream cheese adds a layer of complexity to the standard breakfast sandwich that you won't find at a typical corner deli. Regardless of which sandwich you choose, make sure to explore the cream cheese case; the sheer number of options is a highlight in itself. From the savory to the adventurous, Broad Nosh Bagels 49th St does it right. In a city that takes its bagels seriously, this Madison Avenue shop is one destination you should definitely "not skip" on your search for the quintessential New York bite.

Hands down the best bagel I had on my vacation to Manhattan! The White Fish bagel sandwich was absolutely incredible. The everything bagel with egg, bacon and chipotle cream cheese was out of this world. SO MANY cream cheese flavors. This place does it right. Do NOT skip.

This was the best bagel I had in New York! So yummy and was only $10 for a bagel and a drink . Really big generous filling and so many cream cheese options. The owner Robert came over to speak to us and he was the sweetest guy! Really recommend! Love from Ireland 🇮🇪

This is one of the best rated Bagel places in New York, so prepare for this place to be PACKED. However, I still had a fine experience. There will literally be no sitting available and you’ll likely need to find a place to sit outside. They also missed my pastrami sandwich at first. The food itself is really good. I like the chewiness of the bagels; but the cream cheese is the real star. It’s soft and can come in DOZENS of different flavors. Overall, while Broad Nosh is not bad at all, it’s still overrated in my opinion.

Broad Nosh bagels are my favorite place because the bagels are plump and chewy and a nice exterior. I don’t get bagel from anywhere else in the world. They are $2 each for plain bagels. Take a look at the blueberry bagel in the picture. There are so many blueberries in there and it was so good. The everything bagel is my favorite as it’s not salty either. It’s hard to find a great bagel… soft on the inside w a nice chew and plump and lots of bagel. It’s great just plain too. If you buy a dozen you get 1 free bagel.

We had Broad Nosh on our second day in Manhattan as first timers and I’m so glad we chose them as one of the bagels that we had while in NYC! We were there in Thursday morning and it was a packed house but they had it running so smoothly and well-organized! We had a group of four and found a table as another group was leaving, almost right as our food was ready. The staff were friendly (even though it was extremely busy), they served great bagel sandwiches and coffee, and got us in and out quickly so we could go enjoy the day on 5th Ave! Highly recommend! I unfortunately only got a picture of my bagel, it was a pumpernickel BEC and it was delicious!! I got a side of scallion cream cheese which added so much flavor! My husband got a sausage egg cheese on jalapeño cheddar and said it was delicious, I didn’t even get a chance to steal a bite!
