Paris Baguette Introduce
In the heart of Midtown East, where the fast-paced energy of Lexington Avenue meets the sophisticated charm of the Upper East Side, Paris Baguette stands as a premier destination for those seeking high-quality baked goods and a refined café experience. Located at 591 Lexington Ave, this neighborhood bakery café has become a staple for local New Yorkers who appreciate the intersection of traditional French baking techniques and innovative Asian-inspired flavors. The shop offers a serene escape from the bustling city streets, providing a "calm atmosphere" where the aroma of freshly baked bread and rich coffee creates an immediate sense of comfort. Whether you are a local professional grabbing a quick morning croissant or a resident looking for an exquisite centerpiece cake for a celebration, Paris Baguette delivers a level of craftsmanship and aesthetic beauty that is rare in high-volume metropolitan areas.
The philosophy of Paris Baguette is centered on the idea of bringing "joy to your day" through expertly crafted products. As a globally recognized brand with deep roots in South Korean baking culture, it has successfully re-established the neighborhood bakery as the heart of the community. At the Lexington Avenue location, this mission is executed by a dedicated team of "bakers, cakers, and baristas" who produce an extensive array of products on-site daily. The visual appeal of the shop is one of its primary draws; the "pretty and well-put-together" displays of pastries and cakes invite customers to explore unique flavor profiles that range from classic pain au chocolat to modern mochi donuts. While the shop thrives on the efficiency expected in Manhattan, it maintains a commitment to the artisanal quality that defines the brand's DNA.
Location and Accessibility
Paris Baguette is strategically located at 591 Lexington Ave, New York, NY 10022, USA, at the corner of East 52nd Street. This prime Midtown East location puts it within walking distance of some of the city's most significant landmarks, including St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Rockefeller Center, and the Chrysler Building. It is an ideal stop for the thousands of professionals working in the surrounding corporate towers, as well as shoppers exploring the high-end retail corridors of 5th and Madison Avenues.
Accessibility is a standout feature of this location. It is exceptionally well-served by public transportation, situated just steps away from the 51st Street subway station (6 train) and the Lexington Av/53rd St station (E and M trains). This makes it a convenient "pit stop" for commuters traveling from Queens or other parts of Manhattan. For those navigating the city on foot, the shop is easy to spot and provides a streamlined layout for both quick "grab-and-go" orders and those looking to "cozy up" in the limited seating area. While the shop is a high-traffic hub, it maintains a reputation for being a reliable morning and afternoon destination that fits seamlessly into the busy New York lifestyle.
Services Offered

What is worth choosing
If you are visiting Paris Baguette for the first time, the Strawberry Soft Cream Cake is the absolute must-try. It is the brand's most iconic offering—a light, airy vanilla sponge filled with signature soft cream and fresh strawberries. It perfectly embodies the "French-inspired, South Korean-born" delicate sweetness that makes the bakery famous. For those who prefer an individual treat, the Strawberry Soft Cream Cake Slice or the Berry Tart are excellent choices that showcase the freshness of their fruit and the light texture of their cream.
On the savory side, the Hash Brown Bread with Ham & Cheese is a unique local favorite that provides a satisfying and hearty breakfast or snack. The combination of the soft, slightly sweet bread with the salty ham and savory hash brown creates a flavor profile that is both comforting and inventive. For those looking for a classic bakery experience, the Almond Croissant is frequently cited as one of the best available in the area, featuring a generous frangipane filling and perfectly toasted almond slivers. If you are visiting during a seasonal window, look for their "Sip into Spring" or "Nutella Collection" items, such as the Nutella-filled King Cream Donut, which offers a rich, indulgent experience. Regardless of your choice, pairing your pastry with a Lavazza Iced Latte ensures a well-rounded and "phenomenal" tasting experience in the heart of Midtown.

This was extremely poor service. I placed my pickup order online an hour in advance, and the website indicated it would be ready in about 30 minutes. When I arrived, the receptionist told me my order hadn’t been packed at all, and there was no apology. When I asked why the system says 30 minutes but it had already been an hour, the receptionist responded with a dismissive “yeah.” After they finished serving other customers, they finally started packing my order, and even then they forgot items. If I hadn’t checked, I would have left with an incomplete order. On top of that, I ordered two fruit tarts, and they were packed incorrectly. As a result, both tarts were completely smashed (see photo). This shows a lack of basic care and training. This was one of the rudest and most careless service experiences I’ve had. Please improve your online pickup process, train staff to communicate respectfully, and ensure orders are packed properly and accurately.

Above average bakery with pastries. Lavazza coffee is above average too. Prices are typical for midtown Manhattan. This location serves busy office workers and felt clean inside. Although, I did have a homeless person come up to me asking for change, while I was enjoy my pastry inside.

I was targeted for being a Muslim arab on February 13 / 2026. they tampered my drink. I ordered the same order that i always order at other locations but after this I got sick the next day vomiting and having pain that i never had before. . I was bullied and treated with hostility by the staff at this location. They were 7 laughing and whispering like a group of high schoolers ...including a female who was whipping her weave hair and touching it with her hands while working in the kitchen and preparing food and drink . I asked her do you know anything about customer service ? She mocked me and said she dont need to ! . They were unprofessional. Acting like high school students. Very unhygienic . They are not the kind of people to work as a barista. But they well suited to being a gang. They tampered my drink and i asked for a refund. They turned hostile and threatened me with police. And turned it into a personal matter ...But then one of the employees asked me are YOU ARAB ? I was surprised. What does that have to do with this situation then i realised that they were treating like this because i am arab and wearing a hijab. I am 42 i was treated with utter disrespect by a group of guys half my age.. street people. From the moment I was waiting to order. The same guy who asked if am Arab .. ignored me and called on the person behind me like i wasn't standing waiting to order ... That moment i should have known that something was off. I paid 6 usd for nothing. I get 100% better experience and coffee at arabica. Its too blocks away. Since paris baguette started employing people off the street people who dont even know the A B C customer service . It has declined and is no longer a decent cafe. That was the worset experience on a very trivial matter. But because the employees were racist Anti arab anti muslim. They turned it into a personal war.

I was visiting in New York during Memorial Day weekend and found this wonderful place! I had the best slice of strawberry shortcake maybe since my childhood! I took it to go and it was wrapped so nicely and put in a fancy cute box. I been thinking about that piece of cake since I left :( It was just so good!
