No one answers the phone so you have to go in person to order or inquire. The outside of the cake was super cute! But the actual cake was disgusting. I had to pay extra for chocolate cake and it didn’t even taste like chocolate. It was dry and stale. I also requested a chocolate mousse filling and was given like whipped cream. The cake went wasted since none of the kids liked it.

I’m very frustrated with this bakery’s customer service. They never answer the phone as if they don’t have peoples orders to communicate about.. it’s ridiculous that you recieve a dial tone every time you call. I was reading the reviews as well and have to CONFIRM that they do not bake the cakes every day. I asked to see one of their strawberry cakes and she accidentally scraped a bit of icing off (not too noticeable) and put it back on the window. Yesterday was Wednesday… that same cake is still there. Please do not lie about baking everything fresh. If you want to bake everything fresh then why not decorate styrofoam for display and actually bake cakes fresh? Bad customer service and not trustworthy (due to the lie) I’ve purchased over 12 cakes from this location. First 7 amazing… then they just fell off. Not sure if the owner does not care or she’s hiring family members instead of people who will actually pick up a phone or bake a cake…

If you’re looking for a delicious and reasonably priced cake, this is the place! With how expensive life is getting, it was really difficult finding a store that could create a cake for my fiances birthday and not break the bank. They made a huge, beautiful cake that was so delicious at a cost that was super affordable.

The cakes for me are always extra special any design or detail I ask for they always execute the cakes tastes amazing it’s soft and delicious there is no other bakery that I go to and I’ve been ordering cakes from Nancy’s Capri Cakes bakery for years. In all my years I have never, ever had a bad experience with them.It has always been top tier service, especially from the owner herself.Nancy... This check is the most down-to-earth, sweetest amazing baker in all of the Bronx. She has such patience and time, and she completely supports your vision.If you're one of those people that want and are very meticulous about a fondant cake. Like a true artist, she captures your vision, and if there's something specific she encourages it, you could always give her pictures or any ideas that you have.And this woman will make it happen. I come specifically from Suffolk County , Long Island when i'm not in the Bronx, I will drive specifically just to this bakery. You can buy slice cake or you can buy full cakes, but these are not your average cakes. When you go into bakeries within the vicinity, their cakes look like trash Capri bakery has the most unique beautiful designs that you will definitely get not only a beautiful cake on the exterior but the inside is always fresh, moist delicious.
