El Ranchito 2 Introduce
Introduction / Overview
Located in the heart of the Lower Bronx, El Ranchito 2 is one of the most unique culinary and retail destinations in New York City. While many establishments in the area follow a traditional path, El Ranchito 2 has gained significant viral attention for its innovative fusion of a classic Mexican bakery and a trendy "kawaii" collectible boutique. It is a place where the comforting aroma of freshly baked pan dulce meets the high-energy world of modern pop culture collectibles. This hybrid model has made it a local landmark, attracting not only neighborhood residents seeking authentic flavors but also collectors from across the five boroughs who are on the hunt for rare items.
The establishment has successfully captured the spirit of the modern New York experience by blending cultural heritage with digital trends. Known across social media platforms like TikTok, El Ranchito 2 has carved out a niche as a specialized hub for enthusiasts of Asian-inspired collectibles such as Labubu and Sonny Angel figures. The atmosphere is vibrant and eclectic, managed with a personal touch that reflects its roots as a family-run business. Whether you are coming in for a morning pastry or to unbox a rare collectible, the store provides an engaging, multi-sensory environment that is professional yet deeply connected to the local Bronx community.
Location and Accessibility
El Ranchito 2 is situated at 456 E 138th St, Bronx, NY 10454, USA. This prime location in the Mott Haven/Port Morris section of the South Bronx makes it highly accessible for both local pedestrians and those traveling from Manhattan. East 138th Street is a major commercial artery, providing the shop with a bustling backdrop that reflects the energy of the neighborhood.
For those using public transportation, the accessibility is excellent. The storefront is just a short walk from the 3rd Ave - 138th St subway station, which is served by the 6 train, offering a direct and efficient connection for commuters from the Upper East Side and Midtown Manhattan. Additionally, the area is well-served by several bus lines, including the Bx15 and Bx33, which provide frequent service throughout the Bronx. For those traveling by foot, the shop is a welcoming sight among the local businesses, easily identifiable by its unique window displays. While the store typically opens its doors in the early afternoon—often around 1:00 PM or 2:00 PM—it has become a destination worth the journey for those looking to combine a snack run with a collectible hunt.

What is worth choosing
When you visit El Ranchito 2, the most rewarding experience comes from embracing the shop’s unique dual identity. For the food-focused visitor, the conchas are a mandatory selection. These traditional Mexican sweet breads are known for their soft, airy texture and signature sugar-crust topping, providing a perfect example of authentic Bronx-based Mexican baking. If you are looking for something more substantial, their savory menu items like the sopes and tacos are highly regarded for their authentic seasoning and generous portions.
However, the true "worth-choosing" highlights for many visitors are the collectibles. If you have been searching for Labubu figures, this is one of the few places in New York where you can find them in person. While the authentic versions are priced as luxury items (often $70 or more), they offer the security of seeing the product before buying—a rare convenience for items that are difficult to secure online. For those who want the look without the high price tag, the "dupes" or replicas sold here are noted by customers for their impressive quality and accuracy. Many collectors find it worthwhile to purchase a Labubu and take advantage of the occasional "freebie," such as a small clothing item for the figure, which the friendly staff sometimes provides. Whether you are coming for the food or the toys, El Ranchito 2 offers a one-of-a-kind New York experience that perfectly captures the intersection of community tradition and modern trend culture.

Came across this place because of their TikTok, they sell authentic and dupes of most items. Especially labubu’s but the authentic ones are pricey. However since it’s hard to get one online, I didn’t mind spending $70+ for a have a seat. The labubu dupes are actually good replicas, my bestfriend decided to get one, it’s good quality.

I came across this location from a tiktok on this tiktok it shows that they sold labubus and sonny angels, I went a bit early around 12:30pm but this nice man told me they open around two which I think sucks but that’s more my fault, the store ended opening by a mom and daughter duo around 1pm so it wasn’t a long wait I ended up buying three labubus and one Sonny angel, they are pretty accurate dupes if that’s what you are looking for, they also sell real ones but not to many real ones so don’t get your hopes high I ended up spending more than $100 she was pretty nice and gave me a free clothing item for my labubus, I rated the food low since I didn’t taste the food so take that rate with a grain of salt. Give this place a try if you are in the lower bronx area and if you looking for nice dupes

Such a cute store! Kawaii themed and the staff were so nice and knowledgeable! They have both authentic and replica blind box collections, so everyone can join in on the fun! The prices for the authentic blind boxes are pretty pricey for the resale market. I ended up purchasing two outfits for my Labubu, it was hard to decide which one due to so many options. I would definitely recommend and will be back. Next time I will be buying some bakery treats as well. I’m so happy we finally have a kawaii store like this in the Bronx✨
