Fay Da Bakery Introduce
For the residents of Maspeth, Queens, and the broader New York metropolitan area, the arrival of Fay Da Bakery at Maurice Avenue represents a significant addition to the local culinary landscape. As a well-established name in the world of Asian-style baking, Fay Da has long been synonymous with the fusion of traditional Eastern flavors and Western pastry techniques. For us New Yorkers, a bakery is more than just a place to buy bread; it is a morning ritual, a source of comfort, and a destination for high-quality, affordable indulgence. The Maspeth location continues this legacy, offering a bright, modern, and aromatic environment that serves as a welcoming hub for the community.
Upon entering this newer addition to the neighborhood, visitors are immediately greeted by the signature aromas of yeast, sugar, and fresh-brewed coffee. The shop is designed with the characteristic Fay Da aesthetic—clean, organized, and featuring expansive glass cases that showcase an incredible variety of colors and textures. In a city where specialty bakeries can often carry premium price tags, Fay Da Bakery stands out by maintaining an accessible price point without compromising on the quality or the complexity of its offerings. For those living in the 11378 zip code and surrounding areas, having such a diverse selection of pastries just minutes away is a welcome luxury that adds a unique flair to the local dining options.
Location and Accessibility
Fay Da Bakery is conveniently situated at 59-09 Maurice Ave, Maspeth, NY 11378, USA. This location is part of a developing local commercial area, often described by patrons as a "little small mall" that has brought fresh energy to the neighborhood. Its placement on Maurice Avenue makes it highly accessible for residents of Maspeth and those commuting from nearby Woodside, Middle Village, and Sunnyside. The bakery is strategically located to serve as a perfect stop for commuters heading toward the Long Island Expressway or local workers looking for a quick, high-quality breakfast or lunch option.
The accessibility of this branch is one of its strongest features for New York users. It is positioned in a way that allows for easy "in-and-out" visits, whether you are walking from a nearby residential block or driving through the area. Local regulars appreciate that this location saves them a trip to more crowded hubs like Canal Street or Flushing. The storefront is modern and well-maintained, with an open-door policy during business hours that invites passersby in with the irresistible scent of fresh bakes. The interior layout is spacious enough to accommodate the morning rush, ensuring that customers can browse the vast selection of over 50 types of pastries without feeling rushed or crowded.

What is worth choosing
When navigating the impressive display cases at Fay Da Bakery, the "Lotus Roll" is a standout choice that comes highly recommended by regulars. This savory delight, typically found in the warmer, consists of a flavorful blend of rice, meat, sauce, and vegetables wrapped in a leaf—offering a hearty and traditional snack that is both filling and unique. For those with a sweet tooth, any of the cream-filled buns or the egg tarts are worth choosing, as they represent the bakery’s mastery over light, flaky textures and balanced sweetness.
For those of us who are conscious of value, the sheer variety of buns—ranging from roast pork to taro—allows for a customized "mix and match" box that is perfect for sharing. Compared to other high-end franchises, you can comfortably fill a box with a diverse assortment for around $20, making it an excellent choice for a family breakfast or a workplace treat. Whether you are coming in for a quick morning coffee and a pastry or looking to explore the savory side of Asian baking, Fay Da Bakery in Maspeth provides a high-quality, sanitary, and budget-friendly experience that is a true win for the neighborhood. It is a place that invites you to visit, explore, and—as the locals say—simply enjoy the "nomnomnom" moments of life in Queens.

As I walk through this little small mall I saw the different stores as they began to build their foundation. Once they put up the sign I was excited with joy. There's nothing like a good tasting bakery pastry to go with your early morning coffee. When I walked into the place it was nice and clean as to be expected for brand new openings. I like the idea that both doors were open so that this way the aromas can hit you once you enter. The menu had at least 40 different items. The display had over 50 different types of pastries as you see in the picture. I spoke with two of the staff workers and their English was perfect enough so that there's no barrier between conversation as I complimented them for using the tongs in order to hold my pastries. There's nothing wrong with being sanitary when dealing with food it's a must. That alone deserves two stars. The cost of these pastries are very inexpensive however you can see yourself racking up to way over $20 in less than six looks into each bakery case. One of my favorite is the lotus role this is filled with rice meat a sauce and I believe some type of vegetables no more than about two tablespoons full of all those ingredients together covered by rice wrapped up in a leaf and it's usually served from the warmer. I'm so happy we got the bakery in the neighborhood now but later on I know I will be depressed once I see the numbers on my bathroom scale go up boy oh boy you just can't win can you? Thanks for coming to the neighborhood.

I’m a regular at the one located in Canal street and am so happy that this one is located 5 minutes from my place. i saw the other reviews that there was mold on some of their selections, but they are paying closer attention now I think. The best thing at this franchise is they don’t seem to be trying to rip people off. I’m sorry Paris Baguette and places like Tous La’jore but the price is right and the quality is terrific. i hope they never change. I’m very happy that i get to come buy here a couple of times a week! nomnomnom!! 🤤

Very clean, very organized and friendly staff. I highly recommend getting the spicy chicken sandwich which I found unbelievable that they had in the first place as I typically would just come here for tasty desserts. The chicken sandwich was perfect, the slaw had the right amount of kick and the bread was sweet enough to balance the heat and saltiness of the chicken. And for $2.75!?! Can’t get any better than that. Also their custard cup had me regretting not getting more than one. Super fluffy pastry, the custard was sweet and reminded me of Spanish flan. I really recommend stopping here for a quick treat!!

Amazing place. Clean, organized, fresh. Is a self service bakery with delicious food and great variety of baked items. The prices are very good and affordable. Great addition next to the Home Depot.

Does your Home Depot have a Chinese bakery in the parking lot? This one is a couple doors down from the fast food teriyaki joint. All the good stuff you’d expect on Mott street. +1 for coffee-milk tea and steamed bao. Slava Queens!
