What is worth choosing
When visiting Paris Baguette in Forest Hills, the clear standout for chocolate enthusiasts is the Chocoholic Chiffon Cake. Local patrons frequently praise this specific selection for being "incredibly moist" with a frosting that remains "light and airy," making it a sophisticated choice for those who find traditional American chocolate cakes too heavy. It is a "total win" for any celebration and consistently receives high marks for its balance of texture and flavor. For those seeking a classic New York experience with a twist, the Strawberry Soft Cream Cake is another signature item that is highly worth choosing, known for its delicate sponge and fresh fruit integration.
Beyond the cakes, the bakery's croissant selection is a staple of the Forest Hills morning routine. The almond croissants and the pain au chocolat are particularly recommended for their buttery, flaky layers. For a more savory start to the day, the Curry Croquette or the Ham & Cheese Pastry offer a unique and filling alternative to standard breakfast fare. While every bakery can have variations in daily freshness, choosing their signature items—especially those highlighted by the local community—is the best way to ensure a premium experience. Whether you are picking up a slice of cheesecake for a late-night treat or ordering a whole cake for a milestone event, Paris Baguette on 71st Avenue remains a top-tier choice for quality baking in Queens. The cake slices were old and frosting was hard with the cake being chalky and the crunchy bits being dense chewy balls. Only one of three slices was actually fresh. The New York cheesecake slice had a cookie dough consistency with a dried out strawberry on top

One of the best chocolate cakes I’ve had! The Chocoholic Chiffon Cake was incredibly moist, and the frosting was light, airy, and delicious. A total win for any chocolate lover.

The worst experience i would have in years! I love paris la baguette, by the way we spell it correctly as a french name cz my second language is french not english and when somebody say it wrong i will take it as cute.., so my mom can’t really read big words in english she can read some small words trying to be day by day good in this foreign language.. in conclusion she needed a piece of cake but couldn’t spell the name so she jut say this chocolate one, he start being soo rude (the black american guy, sorry but i’m not sure what is his name, but he had glasses) so start saying wish one there’s so many, i made it easy for him and i told him the name of the cake.. than he continued making joke about my mom with his friend the one who continued.., when i though he will try to make the experience better, cz we choose this bakery over the rest in the area! here when i got out of my mind.. i will never be here only until they remove “this” from this location ! Btw i told him to let him know that we are the owners of 5 restaurants in midtown and my mom is the boss in one of them.. that’s why she and we know that in business the most important thing is to be kind respectful and understanding that’a why we are one of the best in the region.. finally i need an apology to my mom! So i can relax! She’s the queen of my heart and no one ever has the right to treat her like that! To the owner: we walk to your store in the snow to bring your cake! on 1/26/2026 around 2:00 pm.

The egg tart was quite overpriced - $3.29 for one. And disappointing taste: stale, unfresh, too sweet. The staff were fine. Checkout was easy with no line. There’s a homeless person begging for money right at the door. No restroom. Very few varieties in stock by 6PM

The young man with glasses who was working the cashier this morning was very helpful to me and my mom. It surprised me that he spoke Spanish and he was able to help my mother understand. He was patient and didn’t make us feel rushed. I didn’t have the best experience here last time, but this visit was much better. It’s good to see improvement, and I’ll be coming back ❤️.
