The atmosphere is described by locals as vibrant and welcoming, often enhanced by a curated musical backdrop that makes a simple morning routine feel like a celebration. It is this combination of professional service and authentic "vibe" that has allowed the business to build a loyal following among the discerning palates of Queens residents.

What is worth choosing
If you are visiting Tajadas Bakery & Restaurant for the first time, the absolute "must-try" item is the pan de bono. Local residents and "picky" foodies alike have praised this Colombian cheese bread for its perfect consistency and flavor. It has become a morning staple for many in Woodhaven, often described as a "guilty pleasure" that is impossible to resist. For those looking for more than just a quick snack, taking advantage of the patio seating is highly recommended. It is a unique feature for this type of establishment on Jamaica Avenue and provides a wonderful setting to bring family or friends for a "proper meal." The restaurant side of the business offers hearty portions that reflect traditional recipes, making it a great spot for a weekend lunch with parents or a midday break. My first memory of this place was the first time I bit the pan the bono- it was perfect. After that I remember having the craving to go there every morning. I don’t know about the other workers but the girl that works morning is so lovely. She played Karol G every morning for an entire week and it was just a vibe. It took a while but now she knows me, I like my small coffee with one Splenda and little milk. I could keep coming back for seconds because I like my coffee hot. You guys are amazing and they accept card!

Best Colombian food. The rice and beans are one of the best if not best Colombian rice and beans I’ve ever had. Johanna is the best server, very attentive and if you are a regular customer she remembers your typical orders and what drinks you normally get. The other server i think her name is adamaris is also a very good server and friendly. Get yourself a bandeja paisa if you’re hungry. If you like steal get yourself half entraña strip medium well. This steak is juicy and tender. Their breakfast is excellent as well the arepas are made on premises and the cheese is imported from Colombia i was told by management. The majority of Colombian bakeries use regular mozzarella which doesnt combine with arepa too well. This place bakes the arepa on the grill and then throw their Colombian cheese on top and its just has the perfect taste. Must go place Love this place have been coming here since early 2000s.
