Treats By Trice Introduce
In the bustling, flavor-rich streets of East Harlem, finding a spot that perfectly balances high-quality artisanal baking with a genuine neighborhood feel can be a challenge. However, Treats By Trice has managed to do just that, establishing itself as a beloved fixture on 2nd Avenue. This bakery has become the go-to destination for New Yorkers who value both the art of the celebration and the simple joy of a well-made snack. Whether you are a parent looking to light up your child’s face with a spectacular birthday cake or a local resident in search of a satisfying quick bite, Treats By Trice delivers a consistently "super yummy" experience that keeps the community coming back year after year.
What truly distinguishes Treats By Trice from the many other bakeries in Manhattan is its dual identity. On one hand, it is a sophisticated custom cake studio capable of producing stunning centerpieces that garner endless compliments at parties. On the other hand, it remains a humble, welcoming storefront where the prices are considered "hard to beat," especially given the rising costs of living in New York City. This accessibility, combined with a level of service that makes every customer feel like a neighbor, has cemented its reputation as a hidden gem in the 10029 zip code. It is a place where the quality of the ingredients is matched only by the friendliness of the staff, creating a sweet sanctuary in the heart of the city.
Location and Accessibility
Treats By Trice is conveniently located at 2161 2nd Ave, New York, NY 10029, USA. Situated between East 111th and East 112th Streets, the bakery is perfectly positioned for residents of East Harlem (El Barrio) and those commuting through Upper Manhattan. Its location on 2nd Avenue makes it highly visible and easy to find for anyone navigating the eastern side of the borough. For those who rely on the New York City subway system, the bakery is just a short walk from the 116th Street station, which serves the 6 train, providing a direct link to the rest of Manhattan and the Bronx.
For bus commuters, the M15 and M15-SBS (Select Bus Service) run directly along 2nd Avenue, stopping very close to the bakery’s entrance. This makes it an ideal stop for a "quick bite" on the way home or for picking up a pre-ordered cake without having to navigate deep into residential side streets. The storefront is part of a vibrant commercial corridor, allowing visitors to combine their bakery visit with other local errands. While street parking in this area of Manhattan can be competitive, the efficiency of the service at Treats By Trice ensures that those making a quick pickup can do so with minimal hassle. The bakery's physical presence serves as a welcoming beacon for the local community, contributing to the walkability and charm of the neighborhood.

This place has great food, service, and the prices are hard to beat especially in this neighborhood. I've been coming here for over 4 years now and I always come when I need a quick bite that's going to be satisfying. I also like coming just to chat with the service because everyone is so friendly. I highly recommend in you're in the neighborhood. You won't be disappointed

Good customer service And very clean establishment. Awesome bistec tacos that are fairly priced. Caesar salad is just overpriced iceberg lettuce with dressing packets on the side. Great iced-coffee, though!

$7.50 for bacon egg and cheese sandwich on a roll and a lg coffee? The first and last time I went there. The food was not bad, just rediculously priced for a hole-in-the-wall place in the middle of the projects

I enjoy there home fries and tend to order from here. The past two experiences that I've had with them will make me no longer patronize their buisness. I ordered from them two weeks ago to deliver I never received my order. I called the restaurant and told them that my order was supposed to be delivered 30 minutes prior and nothing arrived. The man said he had to check. He checked and said he would send out the food right away. The delivery driver called me 30 minutes later and refused to come upstairs. Today I placed an order on grubhub and it said it would be delivered by 10:20. I waiter till 11am and called the restaurant no answer at all. I called grubhub who stated wimpys never took the order. I had to have my order canceled and now have to wait 3 days to get my money back on my account. Would not reccomend ordering with them because it's a hassle to do so.
