Highly upset with my experience, I been going here since I was a little girl at least 20 years and today I walked in 5 minutes to closing because I wanted to buy a refreshment and a fruit tart that are my favorite. I don’t live near the area anymore so it’s a hassle for me to get there during their working hours. Today I went to get my hair done in the neighborhood . I walked into the empty bakery with my two small dogs and was refused service before I could even say good afternoon. It was honestly off putting , there was no one in there besides me and the guy working there for him to refuse service. To not go back and forth I just took my step back and walked out. There isn’t even a sitting area for my dogs to disturb. But now they lost a long time customer, I have recommended this bakery to countless people who I have bought fruit tarts for their birthday and special occasions. But that will not be happening anymore

There was a long line when we visited La Tropezienne Bakery on a Saturday morning but the wait wasn’t too bad, about 10 mins. The decor is humble and outmoded with lively ambiance. We got an almond croissant and cinnamon roll with an iced coffee. The portion was great with a reasonable price. However, the texture was kind of cheap and the taste was just okay. The almond filling was light and artificial, which is the type we don’t like.

The regular Napoleon is the BEST sweet treat I’ve ever had across anywhere I’ve ever been to. The cream is not overly sweet and the eclairs are not far behind. The mocha one is the best out of the 3. Almond turc is AMAZING too. The bakers definitely take their time & care about the craft. I CAN TELL 🗣️😮💨
