Angelina Bakery Introduce
In the heart of Manhattan, where the relentless pace of New York City life meets the demand for high-quality culinary experiences, Angelina Bakery stands as a beacon for those seeking authentic Italian flavors. Located on 8th Avenue, this establishment has quickly garnered a reputation among locals and visitors alike for its commitment to traditional baking techniques infused with a modern, stylish flair. For many New Yorkers, a bakery is more than just a place to purchase a loaf of bread; it is a vital part of the daily routine, a spot for a mid-morning reprieve, or a destination for a weekend indulgence. Angelina Bakery captures this essence perfectly by offering a bright, inviting atmosphere that contrasts beautifully with the industrial energy of the surrounding Garment District and Midtown South neighborhoods.
What truly distinguishes Angelina Bakery in the competitive New York food scene is its holistic approach to the customer experience. While many local bakeries are designed for quick "grab-and-go" transactions, Angelina recognizes that a true Italian coffee and pastry experience often requires a moment to sit and savor. The establishment is known for its thoughtfully designed interior, which is described by patrons as bright and aesthetically pleasing. It is a place where the visual appeal of the decor matches the meticulous craftsmanship of the display cases. By prioritizing both the quality of the food and the comfort of the environment, the bakery has created a space that feels like a premium getaway within the busy streets of Manhattan.

What is worth choosing
When it comes to the menu at Angelina Bakery, there are a few standout items that have earned the highest praise from regular patrons and food critics alike. Top of the list is undoubtedly the pistachio croissant. This isn't just a standard pastry; it is a masterclass in flavor and texture, filled with a rich, nutty cream that is considered by many to be one of the best in the city. The croissant itself is perfectly flaky, providing the ideal vessel for the generous pistachio filling. If you are a fan of traditional Italian sweets, the Italian doughnut is another favorite. These are light, airy, and prepared with a level of care that sets them apart from the mass-produced versions found elsewhere.
For those who appreciate the visual side of pastry, the lemon-shaped mousse is absolutely worth choosing. It is a striking dessert that looks just like a real lemon, offering a bright and refreshing flavor profile that is perfect for a mid-afternoon pick-me-up. While the bakery also offers a solid selection of savory sandwiches—such as the ham-and-egg croissant sandwiches—the sweet pastries are truly where Angelina shines. The savory options are reliable and satisfying for a quick meal, but the artisanal sweets like the pistachio treats and doughnuts are the items that make this bakery a "must-return" destination. Choosing these signature sweets, perhaps paired with a perfectly pulled shot of espresso, ensures that your visit to 575 8th Avenue is more than just a meal—it is a highlight of your day in New York City.
In conclusion, Angelina Bakery offers a rare combination of high-quality Italian craftsmanship and thoughtful customer amenities. In a neighborhood that is often characterized by its frenetic energy, this 8th Avenue gem provides a space to breathe, relax, and enjoy some of the finest pastries available in Manhattan. Whether you are a local resident looking for a new favorite spot or a commuter passing through Midtown, Angelina Bakery is a destination that truly lives up to the high expectations of the New York palate.

This is easily one of the best places I’ve been to in New York so far! The food is absolutely delicious, but what really sets it apart is that they’ve thought about the whole experience. There’s plenty of seating with comfortable chairs, and the washrooms are super clean and spacious. It’s not just about the food- something a lot of places forget. Everything we tried lived up to expectations, and I especially recommend the pistachio croissant. A lovely experience overall. I’ll definitely be coming back!

We stopped by one of Angelina’s locations on 8th Ave and picked up a few pastries along with some of their savory sandwiches. The shop is bright and really pretty, and it’s an easy place to walk into if you’re already nearby. We tried the pistachio croissant, the lemon-shaped mousse, the Italian doughnut, and a couple of their ham-and-egg croissant sandwiches. The savory sandwiches were fine — nothing particularly special — but the Italian doughnut and the pistachio croissant were definitely our favorites. Those two were really tasty and stood out the most. There’s also a seating area upstairs, which is nice to have, though it’s pretty simple and nothing fancy. Overall, it’s a pleasant spot to grab some pastries, and we’d come back to try a few more of their sweets next time.

Great and reasonably priced café. Clean place with good service. We stayed in New York for six days and came here for breakfast several times. The filled focaccia, croissants, pizzas, and pastries were all very good. Quality salad and nice coffee. Highly recommended! Breakfast for three cost about $50–65.

Staff is welcoming, many pastries options but I came for the mousse cakes, the raspberry and lemon is booth sweet and soft, there outer layer has a crunch and is firm so it’s not easy to accidentally break apart. I put it in the freezer for half an hour to harden and the result is great 😋 they have a jelly filling, most is moose and the bottom is cake for stability. Heads up, the lemon is more sour than expected but very good! Their flavored coffee is very sweet, I wish they had a stronger espresso taste but I still enjoy the pumpkin latte since the spice was there. The prices are pretty pricy but it’s worth if you just want to try out for the first (if I can remember I payed $60+ for 4 mousse cakes and a coffee, yikes)

We popped in for a late lunch. The pasta was delicious. Though it was crowded, we were able to find a table for 3. The chocolate cake was AMAZING as well as the chantilly filled croissant. Service was great too!
