Chelsea Bagel & Cafe Introduce

Chelsea Bagel & Cafe, a standout establishment in the heart of Manhattan, has become a go-to destination for those who demand quality in their daily carbohydrate intake. While the name suggests a focus on the city's most famous boiled-and-baked bread, this versatile cafe offers a full-spectrum bakery experience. For residents of the Murray Hill and Midtown East areas, it represents the ideal intersection of a traditional bagel shop and a contemporary neighborhood bakery. From the first scent of freshly baked dough in the morning to the savory offerings at lunchtime, this cafe provides a consistent and comforting presence in one of the world's most energetic neighborhoods.

It is a place where you can comfortably transition from a morning coffee and croissant to a midday slice of pizza without ever leaving the building. The atmosphere is frequently described by local visitors as "small and quaint," providing a rare moment of peace and a "great atmosphere" amidst the surrounding urban hustle. Whether you are a seasoned New Yorker who knows exactly what a bagel should feel like or a visitor looking for an authentic breakfast, Chelsea Bagel & Cafe delivers a professional yet friendly experience that makes every customer feel like a regular.

From outta town? This is a great stop for breakfast. The bagels are perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. They have plenty of options for spreads, sandwiches and more. I got the rainbow bagel with egg and cheese. It was just what the doctor ordered. Staff were polite and helpful. Made the ordering process super easy. Small quaint shop with a great atmosphere.

Ive been to 4 or 5 other bagel places in NYC, and this was the best bagel I've had so far. I always get the same thing- everything bagel with plain cream cheese. This bagel was pretty darn good!!! Staff is friendly too. Bagel was only $2 (I'm not sure about the cream cheese), so pretty affordable.

I loved this place since I got to try my first genuine NYC bagel; I wanted to see what all the hype was about and I see now! I got a sesame bagel with chocolate chip cream cheese and absolutely devoured it. I was surprised by the amount of choices there as well; there were many types of sandwiches, pizza, bagels, sweets, salads, and even smoothies. Small sitting area, enough for maybe 6 or 7 with a table or two outside as well. Cute spot!

When passing this place, I asked myself “Do I want a $10 bagel?” And yes in fact I did lol. I ordered a toasted garlic bagel with cream cheese and crispy bacon and a small coffee. The bagels here are delicious, fluffy crispy and flavorful. Made to order. The coffee is strong. Wonderful and fast service. In total I paid $10 and change. I expected to pay more.
