What is worth choosing
For those making their first journey to CopperLeaf Bakery, there are several standout items that have already become legends among the Harlem local community. The absolute "must-order" item is the Heirloom Avocado Toast. This is not your standard mashed avocado on bread; it is a gourmet experience that is widely considered worth every penny. The portion of avocado is generous, and the flavor profile is incredibly sophisticated, combining a hint of umami with sweet, sour, and spicy elements that make it surprisingly filling and deeply satisfying. It is an excellent choice for a healthy yet indulgent lunch.
If you are in the mood for something more traditional, the CopperLeaf Egg Sandwich is a masterclass in simplicity. It is a delicious, well-executed sandwich that provides the comfort of a classic New York breakfast with the quality of artisanal ingredients. For those seeking a lighter start, the Daily Granola Yogurt is highly recommended. The yogurt is thick and flavorful, and the bakery is known for being generous with fresh toppings, ensuring every bite is as good as the last. It is the perfect balance of health and flavor.
Finally, do not leave without trying their beverage specialties. The coffee is noted for being particularly strong and rich, perfect for those who take their caffeine seriously. However, for a unique treat, ask for the Iced Rose Matcha Latte. This personally crafted beverage is a favorite among regulars for its delicate balance of floral notes and high-quality matcha. It is a "fun beverage" that perfectly complements their top-notch pastry selection. Whether you are stopping by for a full meal or just a handcrafted drink, CopperLeaf Bakery ensures that every choice is a rewarding one for your palate.

This new bakery is such a gem! As someone who regularly visits cafés, this will become my new go-to. Food: The heirloom avocado toast is definitely worth the money. They were generous with the avocado and it was bursting with flavor. It had a hint of umami, sweet, sour, and spicy. It was a unique take on avocado toast but I really loved it; it was delicious and surprisingly filling. The copperleaf egg sandwich is a simple, delicious sandwich. The daily granola yogurt was really good. It had so many fresh toppings and the yogurt was thick and flavorful. The coffees were also great. Very strong and rich coffee. Service & Atmosphere: The servers were very friendly and professional. The café was also very clean, I loved the clean decor. It's quiet enough to work and read, but it's also a great place for friends to talk quietly. There's enough seating but not so much that it could get packed. The restroom was also very clean. I'd definitely come back for the food and to work/read.

So happy that this place opened on my block! I went in the other day, and was wanting a fun beverage. one of the baristas, Shane (sorry if I spelled it wrong), kindly recommended her personally crafted iced rose matcha latte. It was one of the best matcha lattes I’ve ever had! The pastries are also top notch, and the place is always got people coming in and out which is a nice vibe for a new cafe.

Great cafe. Breads and pastries baked fresh. I enjoyed the butternut squash soup, which came with some baguette slices. The atmosphere is laid back but refined. Easy to come with kids or with friends. Baguette was perfect (although a bit pricey). I will be back!

This was a delicious adventure! This cafe is a great new addition to Harlem. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, the atmosphere was perfect, and most of all the food was impeccable! I highly recommend the croissant- it is flaky, buttery and doughy, and the presentation is perfect. (Get it warmed too!)

I live in this neighborhood. Copperleaf bakery is such a wonderful addition to the area. The croissant is genuinely one of the best I have ever had, and I consider myself a croissant connoisseur. Flaky, light, perfectly buttery, absolutely amazing. Their coffee is great, not too sweet. The shop is lovely, we brought friends here and were able to sit and chat for an hour over breakfast. Highly recommended!
