PATISSERIE DES AMBASSADES Introduce
In the vibrant heart of Harlem, New York, where the energy of the city meets a deep sense of community history, Patisserie Des Ambassades stands as a testament to local culinary passion. This establishment is much more than a standard bakery; it is a neighborhood fixture that captures the spirit of Frederick Douglass Boulevard. For residents of New York City, particularly those living in the Upper Manhattan area, finding a spot that feels authentic and welcoming is a priority. Patisserie Des Ambassades delivers on this by offering an environment that prioritizes hospitality and genuine food over the corporate polish found in many midtown chains.
The bakery serves as a central meeting point for the diverse population of Harlem. It is the kind of place where you might see neighbors catching up over a meal or professionals taking a break from the fast-paced New York lifestyle. As a locally-owned business, it holds a special place in the hearts of those who prefer to support community-driven enterprises. While New York is famous for its high-end patisseries, this location focuses on a "people-first" approach, ensuring that every guest feels noticed and appreciated from the moment they walk through the door. It represents the gritty yet soulful charm that defines the modern Harlem dining scene.

I believe they were short staffed the day I went over here. However, shoutout to their staff for such an amazing food and hospitality. Owner is also very friendly. Thank you!

They made my latte with half and half instead. I was disappointed, because I was hoping to turn this into my new morning coffee spot. (Double Dutch makes great coffee but is way overpriced). Don’t come for the coffee. Ambassades is a great locally-owned, community spot with good food. Come for a meal, not a drink.

I'm here almost every day for coffee and it's delicious, as are the raisin croissants (which I treat myself to on occasion). I haven't yet tried the food but it looks really good, with large portions for the entrees.
