What is worth choosing
If you are visiting Jumbo Bagel Cafe for the first time, the "must-try" item that local regulars and visitors alike rave about is the beef bacon, egg, and cheese bagel. This sandwich is frequently cited as a standout for being incredibly tasty and filling—a perfect representation of why New York is the global capital of bagels. The beef bacon provides a savory, salty crunch that pairs perfectly with the soft, fluffy eggs and melted cheese, all held together by a fresh, dense bagel. It is a substantial meal that provides enough energy to fuel a long day of walking through the city or sitting through back-to-back meetings.
For those who prefer a more traditional or vegetarian-friendly option, the plain bagel with scallion cream cheese is a highly recommended choice. The simplicity of this pairing allows the quality of the bagel itself to shine through. Patrons have noted that the scallion cream cheese is particularly flavorful, providing a fresh and tangy kick that elevates the experience. To round out your meal, the cafe’s cappuccino and muffins are excellent additions. The muffins are described as "perfect" for a sweet finish or a lighter breakfast alternative. Whether you are looking for a heavy, savory sandwich or a classic schmear, Jumbo Bagel Cafe delivers the authentic flavors that define the New York region.

Decided to come here for breakfast during my visit in midtown, and had my first NY bagel. Very happy to say my first one was absolutely amazing! I had the beef bacon, egg, and cheese bagel, and it was so tasty and filling! I can see why New York is famous for them now. Also had a nice cappuccino and muffin, which were perfect for getting me ready for my day. Will definitely be returning when I’m in the area!
