In the bustling landscape of the Upper East Side, Paris Baguette has carved out a significant niche as a reliable and high-energy neighborhood hub. Located on Lexington Avenue, this international bakery-café franchise brings a unique "French-Asian" fusion concept to New Yorkers. The popularity of this place keeps growing day by day, and I’m really enjoying it. We stopped by for a quick bite—bun roll, some pastries, and coffee. It’s not as big as the one in Morristown, but hey, it’s New York! We spent about 30 minutes here. The service was quick, and we got our coffee right away. They have a restroom available too.

I used to be excited to shop at this bakery, but lately the experience has been very disappointing. The quality of the cakes displayed in the showcase does not match what is actually sold. The sample looks beautiful, but once the cake is packed and you get home, you find an old, poorly presented product that is very different from what was advertised. This is not the first time this has happened. On this occasion, I traveled a long distance to purchase this cake, and when I arrived home and opened it, it was a huge disappointment. The worst part is that, due to the distance, I had no way to return to the store to file a complaint. I recommend that customers check their cake before leaving the store, as the quality is not consistent. Very bad experience and a great disappointment.

I had a coffee and a croissant from Paris Baguette during my visit to New York City. Good place to relax and enjoy a cup of coffee. The service is good. I stayed there couple of hours. People come and work from the coffee shop. Wifi is available for visitors. Had a great time in this place. Croissant was good and liked it. They have got a great collection of french sweets and breads. Loved it.

I paid for a customized double layered cake one month in advance with a credit card transaction record for pickup today. I was refused service by the store manager, Jacob, accusing me for not having a receipt and offered zero help to identify the case with my phone number, name associated to the order. I was eventually denied service by Jacob without the cake which is extremely disappointing. In 2026, a store that takes pre-order claim the only way to identify the order is through a printed receipt without any ability to find the order through customer's information seems to be totally out of synch with today's digital world. Unwilling to try but accusing the customer not able to provide a manul receipt was unreasonable. Be aware and keep manual receipt for pre-orders.

Definitely one of the nicest Paris Baguettes I’ve been to. Right past the door are enticing rows of pastries in glass cases, and beyond the coffee making counter in the back are old ovens that must be relics of some other bakery. Granite tables and country wooden chairs make for a cozy setting to camp with coffee and pastry. Like most bakeries, when fresh, the pastries are great — and our raspberry almond croissant and jumbo twisted donut were rather fresh and tasty. Also, the seasonal holiday white mocha is a treat. Quality of service unfortunately didn’t match. The cashier somehow misheard my answer to “hot or iced,” and placed the order instead for the opposite (“iced”); I didn’t realize this until the barista (different person) delivered the order. And though the barista went on to remake the right order, she didn’t get to it until after clearing a queue of orders from people after me, making my overall wait time much longer. I know it wasn’t her fault that the wrong order was put through, but I would have expected more urgency (especially since I overpaid with the iced). Still, Paris Baguette is more about the food and drink than the few minutes (ideally) that you deal with service. Just make sure to pay attention to your receipt.
