Tous Les Jours Introduce
In the vibrant and bustling landscape of the Flatiron District, a new destination for pastry lovers has arrived on a busy stretch of 23rd Street. Tous Les Jours, a French-Asian inspired bakery-café, has opened its doors to a neighborhood already rich in culinary options, yet it manages to carve out its own distinct niche. From the moment you approach the storefront, the aesthetic ambition of the establishment is clear. It presents a world of polished glass cases, a soft pastel palette, and an endless parade of buns and breads lacquered to a high gloss. For local New Yorkers familiar with the French-Asian bakery scene, the visual cues might feel reminiscent of other major chains, yet Tous Les Jours maintains its own unique identity under its specific ownership, focusing on a bright, modern, and welcoming atmosphere.
The interior of the bakery is remarkably immaculate and bright, serving as a sanctuary of light amidst the grey pavement of Manhattan. It is the kind of establishment where every corner seems designed with social media in mind; the lighting is crisp and the displays are arranged with mathematical precision. Whether you are a student looking for a cheerful place to study, a professional grabbing a quick snack between meetings, or a creator looking for the perfect backdrop for a food review, the environment at Tous Les Jours feels naturally accommodating. The background music hums at a pleasant, algorithm-friendly tempo, contributing to an experience that is both efficient and aesthetically pleasing. It is a space that encourages lingering, providing a cheerful contrast to the frantic energy of the surrounding city blocks.
Location and Accessibility
Tous Les Jours is centrally located at 24 East 23rd Street, New York, NY 10010, USA. This placement puts it right in the heart of one of Manhattan’s most accessible transit hubs. Situated just steps away from Madison Square Park, the bakery is easily reachable for those spending time in the Flatiron District or NoMad. For commuters and locals, accessibility is a major highlight. The 23rd Street subway station is nearby, providing access to the N, R, W, and 6 trains, while the M23-SBS crosstown bus runs directly past the entrance. This makes it an ideal stop for anyone traversing the island from east to west or north to south. Its position on a high-traffic corridor ensures that it is a convenient "pit stop" for a morning coffee or a late-afternoon treat before heading home.

What is worth choosing
When visiting Tous Les Jours, it is important to understand the bakery’s specific culinary philosophy. If you have a penchant for sugar, you will find yourself in paradise. The most celebrated items at this location are undoubtedly the cakes. They are remarkably light in texture and highly photogenic, making them a top choice for local celebrations. The signature cream cakes, often decorated with fresh fruit and pastel accents, are not just delicious but also serve as a centerpiece for any table. For those who prefer smaller treats, the individual cake slices allow for sampling the various flavor profiles without committing to a full size.
For a quintessential Tous Les Jours experience, the soft milk breads and cream-filled buns are highly recommended. These items showcase the "high gloss" finish the bakery is known for and offer a pillowy texture that melts in the mouth. Interestingly, even the "savory" options are worth choosing if you enjoy a touch of sweetness in your meals. The franks and garlic bread are often brushed with a sweet glaze, creating a unique flavor profile that is characteristic of this French-Asian fusion style. While some may find the pricing at this Manhattan location slightly higher than in other boroughs, many find that the convenience of the 23rd Street location and the pristine atmosphere justify the cost. For a simple but satisfying choice, the classic buns are a reliable staple, and the polite service from the local team makes the selection process a joy. Whether you are there for the food, the lighting, or a bit of both, Tous Les Jours delivers a cheerful and sweet experience that is perfectly tuned to the modern New York lifestyle.
Overall, this bakery is more than just a place to eat; it is a destination designed for the modern era. It knows exactly what it wants to be: sweet, cheerful, and ready for its close-up. If you find yourself on 23rd Street, a quick detour into this bright, pastel-hued world is a great way to sweeten your day and perhaps capture a few beautiful photos along the way.

Tous Les Jours Reviews

On a busy stretch of 23rd Street, Tous Les Jours arrives looking suspiciously familiar: the glass cases, the pastel palette, the parade of buns lacquered to a high gloss. One could be forgiven for assuming it’s a Paris Baguette satellite that wandered a few blocks too far. It isn’t, different ownership, same aesthetic ambition, but the resemblance is so striking that the déjà vu becomes part of the experience. The bakery-café is immaculate and bright, the kind of place where ring lights feel as natural as napkins. The background music hums at a pleasant, algorithm-friendly tempo. Service is unfailingly polite, helpful, and efficient, as if calibrated for customers who might be filming. But the defining trait of Tous Les Jours is its sweetness, unyielding, omnipresent, almost philosophical in its commitment. Items labeled “savory” arrive with the same sugary sheen as the pastries. Sandwiches lean dessertward. Even the franks and garlic bread seem to have been brushed with a pastry chef’s enthusiasm. If you like sugar, you will love TLJ. If you don’t, you may find yourself negotiating with each bite. Still, there is a certain charm in the earnestness of it all. The cakes are photogenic, the breads soft and inviting, the space welcoming in a way that encourages lingering, if not for the food, then for the lighting. It is a bakery designed for TikTok, and in that mission it succeeds effortlessly. Tous Les Jours may not redefine the café-bakery landscape, but it knows exactly what it wants to be: sweet, cheerful, and camera-ready. For some, that will be more than enough.

I was waiting for this location to open! It’s a bit overpriced compared to the brooklyn locations. The employees are really nice and chill!

Tous Les Jours is such a refreshing surprise. It’s clean, it’s bright, and everything in the display case looks incredibly fresh. The entire experience gives me flashbacks of France—real bakery energy, not mass-produced chain vibes. The customer service couldn’t be better; everyone was attentive, upbeat, and genuinely seemed happy to be there. They even offered to heat up pastries, which made everything feel elevated and intentional. And from the very first bite, it didn’t feel like I was eating at a chain at all, but at a true restaurant bakery. I genuinely hope this place gives Starbucks a run for its money. It’s a must-win.

Lucas was the highlight of my experience here at the Madison square park location. Extremely attentive, helpful, kind, and patient. He made sure every question I had about the menu and options was thoroughly answered and exceptionally polite. He was very customer attentive helping me and others as we picked our food. He gave great recommendations and knew exactly what we would like. He made our drinks wonderfully and the food was divine. I will for certain be returning to this location I also implore anyone reading this to do the same
