Cinnabon Introduce
When you are navigating the high-energy streets of Midtown Manhattan, few scents are as recognizable or as inviting as the aroma of warm cinnamon and baking dough. For locals and visitors alike, Cinnabon at 664 8th Ave serves as a prominent landmark for those seeking a quick, indulgent treat. This particular location offers a unique experience for New Yorkers because it operates as a dual-concept space, functioning as both a Cinnabon and an Auntie Anne’s café. This combination makes it a versatile destination for anyone craving either a world-famous cinnamon roll or a classic soft pretzel, all under one roof in one of the busiest districts in the world.
The New York bakery scene is incredibly competitive, ranging from high-end artisan pastry shops to beloved global franchises. Cinnabon has maintained its status as a go-to comfort food staple by sticking to a formula that works: high-quality ingredients, consistent flavors, and that unmistakable cream cheese frosting. Whether you are a daily commuter passing through the Port Authority area or a local resident looking for a weekend sugar fix, this location provides easy access to the snacks that have made the brand a household name across the United States. In a city that never sleeps, the reliability of a warm, gooey center of a Cinnabon Classic is a small luxury that many find hard to resist.
Location and Accessibility
Situated at 664 8th Ave, New York, NY 10036, this bakery is strategically positioned in the heart of the Theater District, just steps away from the neon lights of Times Square and the bustling transportation hub of the Port Authority Bus Terminal. For those living or working in the New York region, accessibility is one of this location's strongest suits. It is easily reachable via several major subway lines, including the A, C, and E trains at 42nd Street–Port Authority Bus Terminal station, as well as the N, Q, R, W, 1, 2, 3, and 7 trains at the Times Square–42nd Street complex.
Being located on 8th Avenue means the bakery is a frequent stop for those heading to Broadway shows or catching a bus out of the city. Despite the intense foot traffic characteristic of this part of Manhattan, the store is known for having manageable wait times compared to other nearby tourist-heavy eateries. The layout is designed for the fast-paced New York lifestyle, allowing customers to grab their treats and continue their journey through the city. While the area is synonymous with "tourist crowds," local New Yorkers often appreciate this spot for its efficiency when they need a quick snack during their midday break or before a long commute home.

What is worth choosing
When visiting the 8th Avenue Cinnabon, the "Classic Roll" remains the undisputed champion for most visitors. It is the gold standard of cinnamon rolls, featuring Makara cinnamon and heaps of smooth cream cheese frosting. However, for those who find the Classic a bit too much for a single sitting while walking through Manhattan, the "Minibon" offers the exact same flavor profile in a more manageable, travel-friendly size. This is particularly popular among New Yorkers who want the indulgence without the commitment of a full-sized pastry during their commute.
Beyond the dough, the beverage selection is a hidden gem at this location. The frozen Chillatta is a standout choice, especially during the humid New York summer months. It provides a creamy, icy contrast to the warm pastry. If you are looking for something lighter, the flavored lemonades are frequently praised for their refreshing quality. Because this location shares space with Auntie Anne’s, it is also highly recommended to try the pretzel nuggets if you are in the mood for something savory. The ability to mix and match between these two iconic American brands allows for a customized snacking experience that few other bakeries in the Times Square area can provide. While customer service experiences can vary, the consistency of the food remains the primary reason locals return to this 8th Avenue staple.
For those looking to bring a piece of the experience home, the CinnaPacks are a smart choice. They are specifically designed to be taken away and enjoyed later, ensuring that the buns stay fresh even after a ride on the subway or a walk through the city. No matter what you choose, the combination of warm dough, spicy cinnamon, and sweet frosting makes this bakery a reliable corner of comfort in the center of the New York hustle.

this restaurant had very presentable desserts! It is also versatile since it is also an Aunty annie’s café. They have an abundance of frosting on the cinnamon buns, and the waitress was very friendly and informative about their menu. They had options for lemonade, flavored lemonade, and different ice slushy drinks. prices were relatively affordable, and not a long line for being in Time square.

So I was looking for a Cinnabon place in the area and came across this location on Google Maps. I was surprised to see such a low score for what is usually very popular stores, so I read a few comments and saw most of the low reviews related to staff and cleanliness. I had such a craving for a cinnamon bun that I decided to go anyways. I thought it couldn't be that bad. But O.M.G. the reviews are so dead-on! I made the mistake of asking whether the buns were hot or needed to be re-heated, and I received an eye roll from the girl at the counter who wasn't even making eye contact. I brought my friend, who had never been in a Cinnabon store before, so she asked a couple of questions about the different choices, and the only answer she got was "everything is in front of you, just say what you want" in a condescending tone. I was shocked, and so were other people in the store. Obviously, the food is the most important part of a review, but when you've been bullied before eating, the entire experience gets a bit ruined. Hence the lack of stars. As far as I could tell, the store was clean. Next time I'll pick another place for my cinnamon buns craving.

Shante is the only one that has a pleasant and friendly presence. Her work ethics is great. Its a very small tight place so sometimes you would have to waitnon the line outside when it gets very busy. The previous times I've been here the other staff members were horrible and nasty. The cinabon is very good and tasty. I give it a 7/10. I would also like to add that yesterday around 10:20pm the service was HORRIBLE! Who ever is the manager you really need to fire and rehire new staff that will help your business grow. So I ordered the classic cinabon and then the guy with glasses took the bun from the tray without being careful with it cause he rushed it into the package and then the cinabon ripped opened. The cinabon is very soft I understand that but his attitude towards me when I asked him "Did the bun rip" he says "No" with confidence and not caring. So I asked him "Let me see it" he opened the bag and showed me and I'm looking at it ripped and he insisted on selling it to me. Then I asked him can I get another one. Then this girl with glasses came up and said "what's wrong with it" with the BIGGEST ATTITUDE IN THE WORLD. So I just walked out. You lost $5.98 from me last night. That's not how you treat customers who pay practically $6 for bad service. The place is also filthy all the time.

Auntie Anne’s pretzel bites were stale. Never again. I do not recommend.

The female worker had an attitude and the buns weren’t fresh. I went around noon (which I think is early enough) and you would think that the buns would be fresh at that time of day… but I was wrong. 7th ave location is better.
