Auntie Anne's Introduce
When it comes to the quintessential American snack experience in the heart of New York, few names resonate as strongly as Auntie Anne's. Nestled in the vibrant and bustling neighborhood of Flushing, specifically within the lively commercial corridor near the Skyview area, this location at 133-33 39th Ave serves as a go-to spot for shoppers, commuters, and families looking for a quick, warm, and comforting bite. Auntie Anne's has built a global reputation on the simple perfection of a hand-rolled soft pretzel, and the Flushing branch aims to bring that golden-brown goodness to one of the most diverse and fast-paced communities in Queens.
For New Yorkers navigating the dense streets of Flushing, a bakery snack that can be eaten on the move is an essential part of the daily rhythm. Auntie Anne's operates with a focus on high-visibility and immediate gratification, offering a menu that balances savory classics with sweet indulgences. Whether you are taking a break from a marathon shopping session at nearby retail hubs or grabbing a treat before heading to the 7 train, this location provides the familiar aroma of fresh dough and cinnamon that many locals have come to associate with a classic mall or transit hub outing. While the experience at this specific branch has been noted by some local patrons for its varying levels of service efficiency, it remains a prominent fixture for those seeking the brand's signature pretzel products.
Location and Accessibility
The Auntie Anne's at 133-33 39th Ave, Flushing, NY 11354, is situated in a prime geographic position. Flushing is one of the most significant transit and commercial hubs in the entire New York City area, and 39th Avenue sits right in the thick of it. This location is exceptionally accessible for those utilizing the city’s extensive public transportation network. It is only a short walk from the Main Street-Flushing subway station, the terminal for the 7 train, which connects Queens directly to Grand Central and Times Square in Manhattan. Furthermore, the Long Island Rail Road (LIRR) Port Washington branch stops nearby, making it a convenient pitstop for suburban commuters.
For local residents who prefer to walk, the bakery is positioned within a high-density residential and business district, meaning it receives heavy foot traffic throughout the day. Accessibility for drivers in Flushing is always a consideration; while street parking is notoriously difficult on 39th Avenue and Main Street, the proximity to large shopping centers like SkyView Center provides multi-level garage parking options. This makes it feasible for locals to pull in, park, and visit the bakery as part of a larger shopping excursion. The store itself is designed for quick service, typically featuring a counter-service layout that caters to the "grab-and-go" culture prevalent in the 11354 zip code.

What is worth choosing
When visiting this Flushing location, the Cinnamon Sugar Nuggets are often a top choice for locals, providing a manageable and shareable treat that satisfies a sweet craving. These bite-sized pieces are coated in a generous layer of cinnamon and sugar, making them a favorite for children and adults alike. If you are looking for something more traditional, the Original Pretzel with a side of Cheese Dip remains the gold standard. The contrast between the coarse salt and the warm, creamy cheese dip is a flavor combination that has kept this brand relevant for decades.
For those looking to quench their thirst, the Frozen Lemonade is a highly recommended choice, especially during the humid New York summer months. However, local feedback suggests that it is always wise to double-check the availability of specialized seasonal items, such as the Watermelon Lineup or Almond Pretzels, as stock levels can fluctuate during peak hours. If a specific item is unavailable, the classic Original Nuggets are a reliable backup that rarely disappoints. To ensure the best experience, utilizing the official Auntie Anne's app can help you track rewards and occasionally verify if certain promotions are active at this specific 39th Avenue site. Despite some mixed feedback regarding service speeds during rush hour, the core menu items continue to be a popular draw for the Flushing community.
In summary, the Auntie Anne's at 133-33 39th Ave serves as a central hub for snack lovers in Flushing. While it faces the challenges of being located in one of the city's busiest neighborhoods, it continues to provide the familiar, warm pretzels that many New Yorkers know and love. By focusing on the classic items and utilizing the mobile rewards system, locals can make the most of their visit to this well-positioned bakery.

0 star for service Yesterday, my five-year-old son wanted to order an Almond Pretzel and the Watermelon Lineup at this Auntie Anne’s location. The cashier, Karl H (as written on the receipt), told me they didn’t have the Almond Pretzel. I asked when it would be available, and he replied that they didn’t have time to make it, so it simply wasn’t available. I then asked my son if he wanted to choose something else, and he decided on the Cinnamon Sugar Nuggets. When I ordered the watermelon drink, the cashier told me they also didn’t have it, and only offered Frozen or Frosted Lemonade instead. However, I clearly saw the watermelon drink in the machine, which made his response even more frustrating.. At that point, his attitude became very impatient. While my son was struggling for a couple of minutes to decide, since he really wanted the watermelon drink, the cashier asked us rather rudely if we had made up our minds yet. As customers, it’s already disappointing that the items we came for were not available, but what made the experience worse was the lack of apology and the attitude that somehow we were the problem for “taking too long.” For a well-known chain, this was a very poor customer experience. I will not be coming back to this Sky View location, nor would I recommend it to others. A simple suggestion: if certain items are sold out, why not clearly mark them as unavailable on the menu? That way, customers don’t waste time ordering items that aren’t even in stock.

WORST SERVICE EVER. The manager there has poor english and bad attitude. When I was trying to use the app and redeem my reward, she keep telling me what to do and messed it up. I told her I know how to do it and she keeps saying Im not the worker there and disrespects me because of my age! Insulted me and my parents, saying that, “Youre still young and you go to school right? You have a parent and you go to school, did they never teach you how to respect an adult?” I did absolutely nothing that can make her mad, literally only telling her that she got it wrong. Do not come there, go to the skyview one which is 2 blocks away. Skyview one has GREAT service and once I got there I showed them the code, boom, guess what. It worked, meaning I was right.

The cashier was disrespectful and raised her voice twice when I was trying to pay. Not only did they ignore the customer waiting at the counter but give attitude and their payment method is so small you can’t even see what’s going on in the screen.
