Baguette Talk Introduce
Located in the heart of Flushing, Queens, Baguette Talk has established itself as a premier destination for those seeking a sophisticated yet accessible bakery experience. Situated on the vibrant Roosevelt Avenue, this artisanal bakery bridges the gap between traditional baking techniques and modern, "new-style" bread concepts. For New Yorkers navigating the energetic streets of the 11354 zip code, Baguette Talk serves as more than just a retail shop; it is a community "refuel stop" where the aroma of freshly baked baguettes and premium roasted coffee provides a momentary escape from the city's hustle. The shop's philosophy centers on the idea that bread is a language of its own, crafted with passion and high-quality ingredients to tell a unique story in every bite.
The atmosphere inside Baguette Talk is modern, clean, and professional, reflecting a "classy" aesthetic that appeals to both the daily commuter and the weekend gourmet explorer. Unlike smaller, more cramped stalls often found in the neighborhood, this location offers a spacious interior with seating for approximately ten patrons, making it a viable spot for a quick breakfast or an afternoon tea break. The display cases are a visual feast, showcasing everything from golden-brown croissants and savory buns to intricately designed cakes. Whether you are a local resident looking for a birthday centerpiece or a traveler passing through the transit-heavy Roosevelt corridor, the bakery offers a factual and consistent level of quality that has earned it a loyal following among the Flushing community.
Location and Accessibility
Baguette Talk is strategically positioned at 135-20 Roosevelt Ave, Flushing, NY 11354, USA. This location is exceptionally convenient for those utilizing the New York City transit system, as it is situated just a short walk from the Flushing–Main Street station, the terminal stop for the 7 subway line and a major hub for the Long Island Rail Road (LIRR). For residents of Queens and commuters from Manhattan, the bakery's placement on such a major thoroughfare makes it a natural stop for a "to-go" breakfast or a late-afternoon treat.
For those traveling by car, accessibility requires a bit more planning. Like most high-traffic areas in Flushing, street parking on Roosevelt Avenue is extremely limited. Visitors are encouraged to utilize the various paid municipal parking lots in the vicinity or consider parking in nearby residential areas and taking a short bus ride or walk to the storefront. The bakery is also accessible via numerous MTA bus routes that service the Main Street area. For those with mobility needs, the street-level entrance provides easy access, and the clean, well-organized layout of the shop allows for comfortable navigation between the self-service bread trays and the staffed service counters.

What is worth choosing
When visiting Baguette Talk, the sheer volume of choices can be overwhelming, but certain items have become definitive favorites among the local Flushing crowd. If you are looking for a savory meal, the fish sandwich is often described as spectacular; it features a perfect balance of textures and flavors that sets it apart from typical deli fare. However, be aware that popular items like this can sell out as early as 4:00 PM, so an earlier visit is recommended. For those who prefer a classic, the grilled cheese provides a unique take on the traditional sandwich that is both comforting and satisfying.
For those with a sweet tooth, the "mini desserts" are a highlight, allowing you to sample several different flavor profiles without committing to a full cake. The cold, creamy vanilla ice cream is also a popular pick, especially during the warmer months or as an accompaniment to a fresh-baked pastry. If you are exploring their bread series, the Taro Paste Bun and the Pork Floss Green Onion Bun are quintessential examples of the bakery's ability to balance delicate sweetness with savory accents. Finally, for anyone who visits frequently, reloading a member card is the smartest move—it not only simplifies the payment process but also unlocks rewards that make each "delicious share" even more satisfying. Whether you're there for the coffee, the cakes, or a Spectactular Fish Sandwich, Baguette Talk provides a factual, high-quality experience that represents the best of modern baking in Queens. Would you like me to help you find their current seasonal cake designs for a special occasion?

Refuel stop for some pastries & coffee. Walked by many times and finally decided to give it a try today. Very glad I did, the coffee is good but the fish sandwich is pretty spectacular. Came back on a 3rd visit but was sold out at 4 pm. Went with a grilled cheese instead. A bit different from what I’m accustomed to but still good 👍.

Great bakery with comfortable and lots of seating area! There are so many choices of delicious bread and cakes to choose from. There are so drinks are good as well. One thing I like about the most about the bakery is that it has lots of charging area gor the phone.

Cute bakery with yummy drinks, breads, and pastries. I tried their hot milk tea, cream puff (matcha and original flavor), and ice honey lemon water. All of them are good and have yet to try anything bad. I always come visit this bakery whenever I’m in flushing! (New) tried the bubble milk tea. Hot milk tea is definitely better than the ice one cause more flavor but the bubble was like nice and qq! Got a free ice cream this time too with $10 and up purchase. Ice cream was a generous amount and not too sweet

Single handedly had to be one of the worst cakes ive ever had in my entire life. I had the mango cake and it my boyfriend described it tasting similar in texture to a piece of white bread that has been marinating in the sink, soaking up all the dirty dish water. Didnt think I couldnt ever have mousse that tasted like a wet soggy piece of bread.... the chocolate cake tasted like.... if water could be described as expired. Have you guys ever had disney water in florida? That's essentially what it tastes like. They didnt put any sugar in it, it's just cocoa powder to make it LOOK like chocolate. Shocked that they were brave enough to open a business to sell their pastries.... they care more about looks than taste.. overpriced for what its worth. Don't come here. Just like the previous shop, they'll shut down and revamp into another bakery soon.
