Broad Nosh Bagels Deli & Catering 58th Street Introduce
In the heart of Manhattan, where the pace of life is dictated by the rhythm of the streets, finding an authentic breakfast spot is a top priority for locals. Broad Nosh Bagels Deli & Catering 58th Street has quickly become a focal point for those seeking a genuine New York City bagel experience. Situated just a stone's throw from the iconic Columbus Circle and the southwestern edge of Central Park, this establishment serves as a vital hub for commuters, residents, and visitors alike. The shop prides itself on delivering the classic elements that define a high-quality NYC bagel: a distinctively crunchy exterior paired with a dense, chewy interior that provides the perfect base for a variety of spreads and deli fillings.
The atmosphere at Broad Nosh Bagels is that of a quintessential New York deli—efficient, busy, and unpretentious. It is the kind of place where the scent of freshly baked dough and savory meats fills the air, creating an immediate sense of comfort for those starting their morning or looking for a midday boost. While the city is filled with countless options for a quick bite, this 58th Street location distinguishes itself through its dedication to the craft of bagel making and its extensive menu that caters to a wide range of dietary preferences. Whether you are a meat lover looking for a hearty sandwich or someone seeking plant-based alternatives, the variety available here ensures that no one leaves hungry.
Location and Accessibility
The convenience of Broad Nosh Bagels Deli & Catering is one of its strongest selling points. Located at 314 W 58th St, New York, NY 10019, the shop is strategically positioned to serve several high-traffic areas. Being so close to Columbus Circle means it is easily accessible via a multitude of subway lines, including the A, C, B, D, and 1 trains. This makes it an ideal stop for those heading into the office or for tourists preparing for a long walk through Central Park. The storefront is easy to find, nestled among the vibrant architecture of Midtown West, and it fits perfectly into the local landscape of high-energy businesses and residential buildings.
Accessibility extends beyond just the physical location. The shop is designed for speed, catering to the "New York minute" lifestyle. Even during peak hours, such as the early morning rush around 8:00 AM on weekdays, the operation is streamlined to handle crowds effectively. While it is a popular spot that can see lines of ten minutes or more during busy periods, the wait is widely considered a worthwhile trade-off for the quality of the food provided. For those with busy schedules, the shop’s presence in a major transit corridor ensures that a high-quality breakfast or lunch is always within reach.

What is Worth Choosing
When navigating the extensive menu at Broad Nosh Bagels Deli & Catering, there are several standout items that have earned the praise of local patrons. For those who enjoy a heavy, protein-rich start to their day, the pastrami bagel is a significant highlight. It is frequently described as being "packed with meat" and "tender," cooked to a nice finish that satisfies even the most dedicated carnivores. While some find the pastrami a bit bold for an early breakfast, it remains a top choice for those looking for a savory, filling lunch that honors the tradition of the New York deli.
For a more classic New York experience with a modern twist, the smoked salmon bagel is highly recommended. It pairs exceptionally well with their cream cheese options, including their highly-regarded vegan cream cheese. Choosing the smoked salmon along with a side of their crispy, delicious latkes creates a well-rounded meal that hits all the right notes of salt, fat, and starch. If you are a fan of traditional textures, simply ordering any variety of their fresh bagels with a thick schmear of cream cheese allows the quality of the dough and the baking process to shine. The "crunchy exterior" and "chewy inside" of the bagels themselves are the true stars of the show, making even the simplest order a "must-try" for anyone in the 58th Street area. Whether you are grabbing a quick coffee and a buttered bagel or a full catering spread for the office, this shop delivers a consistent and reliable taste of the city.

• Got the pastrami bagel. It was packed with meat, tender, and cooked nicely. • Slightly underseasoned for my taste, so I added extra chili sauce, pepper, salt, and more mustard • Pastrami was great if you’re a meat lover; I personally prefer one with more veggies (thought it would have a bit more) • Bagel had a crunchy exterior with a chewy inside. I has really good texture. • Staff were quick to take and serve orders; I just wish there was a bit more patience for customers who are still deciding • Went there early around 8am Monday. It was already busy but no long lines. • Definitely a must-try! Will be back to try one with cream cheese 🥯 Update in response to the owner’s question: •Service during my visit wasn’t excellent. I asked the staff for a recommendation, but he seemed annoyed and only shrugged and pointed at the menu, which didn’t feel very welcoming. Because of that, I went ahead and ordered the pastrami. The pastrami itself was good, but in my opinion not really ideal for an early-morning breakfast bagel, and it was a bit underseasoned for my taste. That said, I’m still open to coming back to try other variations and hoping for a better overall experience next time.

I had a great experience here! I ordered the smoked salmon bagel with vegan cream cheese and latkes, everything was delicious. Even though there were a lot of people in line and I had to wait about 10 minutes, it was definitely worth it! ☺️ Great spot for a solid NYC breakfast.

A solid bagel spot with a huge lineup of spreads to go with their chewy, tasty bagels. I went for the scallion cream cheese lox bagel, and they absolutely loaded it up with smoked salmon, super satisfying and just really good all around. The kids, of course zeroed in on the Oreo cream cheese. I tried to object… but eventually gave in. Can’t win them all. They said was good… The place was packed, but the line moved fast and service was quick. Overall, a great way to kick off the day.

The lox was so tender. No stringy bits. Truly yummy. I found the bagel to be a little tough for my preference. Not a deal breaker though. It was a well built open faced lox and cream cheese bagel. Very good coffee. Nice atmosphere and bit a long wait. Very good service. It was fairly crowded but the food came quickly. Not many tables so don't plan on sitting unless you get there early.

Amazing bagel spot and absolutely worth the wait. I’d recommend grabbing your bagels to go—the space is cozy and charming, but seating can be tough to snag with a line constantly out the door (and for good reason!). I was honestly overwhelmed—in the best way—by the huge selection of bagels and loaded cream cheeses. I went with a jalapeño bagel paired with the bacon jalapeño cream cheese, and wow… it was to die for. The bagel was perfectly soft and chewy without being overly filling—exactly how a bagel should be. A true New York–style must-have. I’ll definitely be back. 🥯🔥
