What is worth choosing
Navigating the menu at a new bakeshop can be a challenge, but a few items at Good Eats BakeShop have already earned high marks from the local crowd. If you are a fan of warm, aromatic beverages, the Chai Latte is highly recommended. It is noted for its generous size and consistent quality, providing a soothing alternative to standard coffee. It is particularly well-suited for a brisk New York morning or a rainy afternoon spent at the shop’s front counter.
For those arriving with an appetite for breakfast, the Omelette is a reliable and satisfying choice. Prepared fresh and served quickly, it offers a hearty start to the day that is much more substantial than a simple pastry. While the bakery selection as a whole "looks incredible," the local consensus leans toward the breakfast items and specialty lattes as the standout performers. While some lunch items like the paninis may be more of a personal preference, the core bakery and breakfast offerings are consistently praised. Whether you are a local resident or just passing through the 10029 area, Good Eats BakeShop provides a dependable, friendly, and affordable experience that captures the true spirit of an East Harlem neighborhood favorite. It is a place that proves you don't need to sacrifice quality for speed, making it a must-visit on Lexington Avenue.

Omlette was good, tuna panini not that great. Service is good. Coffee is ok.

The pastries are equally impressive; the croissants are buttery and flaky, and their seasonal galettes are always a hit. It’s the kind of place where you want to buy one of everything in the case.

I stopped by for a quick bite with my sister and we were pleasantly surprised by the cozy environment. The bagels paired with hot chocolate were the perfect treat for a chilly day. Its inviting atmosphere won us over and we will definitely be coming here more often :)
