If you're strolling down Greenpoint Avenue in Sunnyside and craving something warm, fresh, and comforting, Greenpoint Bakery Café is a must-visit. This cozy spot serves up an impressive selection of Colombian baked goods that taste just like home — or better! The moment you walk in, you're greeted with the smell of fresh bread and pastries. Their pandebonos and almojábanas are absolute standouts — perfectly cheesy, soft on the inside, with a delicate crust. The buñuelos are golden, airy, and just the right amount of sweet. Pair any of them with a rich cup of Colombian coffee, and you're in for a treat. It’s clear this place is run with love and pride. The staff is always friendly, and the atmosphere is welcoming, whether you’re grabbing something to go or sitting down for a moment of peace. Highly recommended for anyone looking to explore authentic Colombian flavors or just enjoy great baked goods in the neighborhood.

Great cafe with a variety of homemade Colombian bread to choose from. My family's new favorite is pan de yuca and this loaf of bread filled with cheese. We also enjoyed their croissants that came fresh out of the oven- buttery, flaky and soft. You can't go wrong with anything you choose. The owners are sweet and takes the time to explain all the different types of bread they make in-house. Will come back for empanadas!

Absolutely loved it. Everything was delicious The chicken empanadas was my favorite. The chicken was moist and well seasoned The dough was light, flaky, buttery with a hint of sweetness. While I've had bunuelo before, after eating yours i now know what it really supposed to taste like. The guava pastry, cheese breads ,and elephant ears are also must haves. Overall an allaround excellent experience.

Brought in a a gift certificate for free coffee and 2 empanadas. The lady who was in the bakery kept on saying “the promotion ended” but I kept explaining this was a gift certificate almost 15 mins later she called a girl on the phone who spoke english and gave it to me. So embarrassing and i even left a tip!

The spot has been open for a few weeks and we love going here for breakfast. The bacon, egg, and cheese in a fresh-baked croissant is the best in the neighborhood! The chicharron is perfectly crispy and flavorful as is the empanadas and our new fave, the puff pastry with beef. And I can't forget the pan de bono and the cheese bread...perfection. The prices are just right including the coffee for about $2.00. A solid addition to the neighborhood!
