What is Worth Choosing
When visiting Paris Baguette, the vast selection can be overwhelming, but certain items consistently stand out as favorites. The croissants are highly recommended by regulars, praised for their flaky texture and rich, buttery flavor. They serve as a benchmark for the bakery's quality and are a staple for any breakfast order. Additionally, the cake selection is a major draw; the light, airy cream cakes—often topped with fresh fruit—offer a dessert experience that is indulgent without being overly heavy. For those who prefer a savory snack, the stuffed breads and seasonal savory pastries provide a satisfying and quick meal option.
It is important for prospective visitors to manage expectations regarding service and environment. Local feedback suggests that while the food and coffee selection are "truly wonderful," the service experience can sometimes be inconsistent during busy morning rushes. Some customers have reported interactions with staff that were less than ideal, particularly when the café is under high pressure. Furthermore, because of its popularity and open-plan design, the interior can get "quite noisy." If you are looking for a quiet, contemplative library-like setting, this may not be the spot for you. However, if you are looking for a delicious, high-quality pastry and a great cup of coffee in a "lively atmosphere," Paris Baguette is undoubtedly a visit-worthy destination in the heart of Sunnyside. Choosing this bakery means opting for variety and reliability in a borough that prides itself on its international culinary offerings.
In conclusion, Paris Baguette at 45-22 46th St offers a slice of international bakery culture to the Sunnyside community. With its accessible location near the 7 train and an extensive menu of sweet and savory delights, it remains a frequent stop for many New Yorkers. By focusing on its strengths—delicious pastries and a strong coffee program—it continues to be a cornerstone of the local café scene, providing a taste of indulgence for anyone passing through this vibrant corner of Queens.

Paris Baguette Reviews

“Horrible service. I went there yesterday morning and ordered a latte with an extra shot. After 10 minutes, I heard 'coffee with an extra shot.' Since no one else was waiting, I approached the barista and clarified that I had ordered a latte, not a coffee. She rudely replied, 'That’s what I said.' Meaning “coffee with a shot” so I assumed it was for someone else. I waited a few more minutes, only to watch her serve three people who had ordered well after me. When I asked the cashier how that was possible, she snapped, 'What do you want me to do? I’m the cashier, not the barista. It’s not my problem.' Unbelievable. Is that really how you speak to customers?" Definitely there’s few places around where you can get better service and coffee.

Paris Baguette is a lovely café with delicious croissants and a truly wonderful coffee selection. It’s a great spot to relax or catch up with friends, and the pastries never disappoint. The only downside is that, depending on the time of day, it can get quite noisy inside but if you don’t mind the lively atmosphere, it’s definitely worth a visit

The service is very slow. There are many of them but they cannot complete the needs of the customers. I love the previous management. Though they are few of them but they get things done quickly and very organized. I miss Nina and the Chinese guy who used to arranged their pastries nicely. This new management better do a good job before the customers will notice the not so great changes to the service offered to them.

Yesterday was my first visit to Paris Baguette, and I decided to try their new cake slice. The Biscoff cookie butter layer cake was truly delightful—it tasted like heaven. I know I’m supposed to avoid sweets once a month, but honestly, I couldn't resist this time. Sometimes, we must treat ourselves, and I believe it’s okay.

First of all, they don’t have specialty coffee, which I would rather get from the deli. Their pastries are okay, but the customer service lacks big time.
