Krispy Kreme Introduce
For many New Yorkers, the sight of a neon "Hot Now" sign is more than just an advertisement; it is an invitation to experience one of the most iconic treats in the confectionery world. Krispy Kreme has long been a staple for those with a sweet tooth across the United States, and its presence in the Bronx provides a familiar, reliable destination for high-quality donuts and coffee. Situated in a bustling part of the borough, this specific location caters to a diverse crowd of students, commuters, and local families who appreciate the consistent sugary bliss that only a fresh-pressed donut can provide. Whether you are looking for a quick morning pick-me-up or a dozen treats to share at a neighborhood gathering, this shop stands as a prominent fixture in the local dessert landscape.
The Krispy Kreme brand is built on a legacy of secret recipes and specialized equipment that ensures a unique texture—light, airy, and meltingly soft. In the competitive culinary environment of New York, where artisanal bakeries and classic bodegas offer endless options, this establishment maintains its edge through brand recognition and the theatrical nature of its production. Residents of the Bronx know that when they step into the store at 371 E Fordham Rd, they are entering a space designed specifically to celebrate the donut in all its forms, from the timeless glazed variety to the ever-rotating selection of limited-edition seasonal collaborations.

What is worth choosing
When visiting the Fordham Road Krispy Kreme, the absolute gold standard remains the Original Glazed donut. For the best experience, try to time your visit with the activation of the "Hot Now" light; there is a distinct difference when the glaze is still warm and the donut practically dissolves upon the first bite. It is the simple, yeast-raised perfection that built the brand's reputation and remains the top choice for New Yorkers who want a classic, no-fuss treat. If you are looking for something a bit more substantial, their filled donuts—often featuring chocolate kreme, custard, or fruit fillings—provide a rich and decadent alternative.
For those who enjoy pop culture and unique aesthetics, keep an eye out for their specialty collections. Recent highlights have included the Harry Potter-themed donuts, which local customers have praised for being both "tasty on all fronts" and visually impressive. These limited-run items often feature unique toppings and designs that make them great for social media or as a special gift. To balance the sweetness, the iced coffee is a frequently chosen accompaniment; it is brewed to be bold enough to stand up against the sugar of the donuts. While prices have seen an increase recently, many local users find that the combination of the product quality and the friendly service justifies the cost for a special indulgence. Finally, if you are a frequent visitor, it is highly worth utilizing the mobile app for coupons and rewards, though it is helpful to be patient with staff as they navigate the digital system to ensure your discounts are applied correctly.
Ultimately, a visit to this Bronx donut shop is about more than just a quick snack; it is about the experience of a well-loved American tradition right in the heart of the borough. From the friendly greetings at the door to the carefully boxed dozens of colorful pastries, Krispy Kreme on Fordham Road continues to be a go-to destination for anyone in the New York region looking to brighten their day with a little bit of sugar and a lot of local flavor.

Came in early due to a coupon I received through the application. Very excited to find parking and no crowd yet on Fordham. Your donuts are always Fabulous but the store smelled like dirty armpits when I came in. Even a family came in after and she was like what Is that smell. Not good hygiene practice smh. Secondly this store is always having a problem with the register every time I provide a coupon or reward from the Krispy Kreme app it takes the attendant a while to figure out how to apply or even call management very time consuming.

Walked into a very clean store. Welcomed right away by someone behind the counter. Gave us time to peruse our surroundinga before we picked up the Harry Potter donuts with an iced coffee. Tasty on all fronts. Given to is with a friendly smile and excellent service. Will go there again even though prices have gone up way a lot. But, you pay for the service, the product, and the experience. Thanks, Krispy Kreme!!!

Very crowded area only went there to try the app deal dozen donuts for $6.49 “too good to go”. Turns out you cannot pick a donut you only get what they give you. I asked for a glazed donut she didn’t give me not a single one. She gave me the lemons and unwanted donuts lol. Difficult to find a parking spot 😂. Despite my unfortunate circumstance the customer service is good. The people are polite not rude or ghetto. I called ahead if I can pick my order and the person agreed. Found a parking spot across the street. Crossed the busy street cause I’m not about to walk farther to the pedestrian crosswalk. Krispy Kreme donuts taste different from Tim Hortons or Dunkin Donuts. I find it a little bit more sweet, I wish I tried the glazed ones. Next time!

Great fast service. No line and no wait time. She made my ice mocha coffee fast and it was really chocolate. I will go back again any time I have a chocolate coffee craving. The donuts were pretty much basic they seemed a little smaller than the average size donut .

Update 4.3.2023: I've come to this location multiple times and always leave happy. During their first year of opening, this place would get packed. The line was outside and everyone would social distance. Now im usually able to come in and order immediately, with little to no wait. The last three times I've visited, the same ladies have been behind the counter. I've come by Saturday afternoon. The ladies who work that shift are amazing. They work FAST and have a whole routine set up. You ask one of them for the donuts you want and she repeats them loud enough for the lady at the register to hear. By the time you turn around, you are rung up and they're just waiting for payment. I love it. The donuts are always good. Really soft and fresh. I love the different donuts that come out during the seasons and holidays. This week i picked up the mini spring box. I enjoyed the different donuts it came with. It came with chocolate frosted donut with pastel sprinkles, green frosted donut with a marshmallow bunny with candy feet, blue frosted donut with white circle sprinkles and piped yellow frosting with orange to create a baby chick and last was a yellow and orange flower with sugar sprinkles. They were all delicious and a hit with the kiddies. It was 16 mini donuts for $20.49. This time around i also ordered coffee from here. I have never tried any of their beverages. I had an iced caramel coffee. It was surprisingly good. The coffee was strong. I liked it. Overall, i will continue to support them. The donuts are GOOD. 10.14.2021: This location has been holding up pretty well. I have both got to this location to pick up donuts and also have had delivery. I much rather go in to get the donuts. Its cheaper and you also have a chance to see the donuts and pick the ones you like best. They prices are a little expensive. Especially when you compare them to other donut places that are around. However the donuts here are worth it. My favorites are the glazed and jelly filled. Most of the seasonal donuts arent that good. This last visit i got two Halloween donuts and the black sugar on the outside is too grainy and like sand. It also turned my kids mouth black. We wiped it all off. During the holiday in December they come out with a few more in present design and trees, etc - they aren't good. Too much food coloring on the icing. The icing filling on the inside isn't good.bThe glazed pumpkin spice cake donut is absolutely delicious. Overall i will keep visiting this location.
