What is Worth Choosing
When visiting Paris Baguette on Grand Street, the absolute top recommendation is their signature cheesecake. Local customers have praised it for being "absolutely delicious" and "smooth and rich," making it a must-try for any dessert lover. It is the type of treat that encourages you to take your time and savor every bite, reflecting a level of craft that exceeds what one might expect from a larger bakery chain. The presentation in its dedicated box also makes it an excellent choice if you are heading to a dinner party or looking to impress someone special.
Another strong contender for your order is the strawberry shortcake. While it is a classic choice, Paris Baguette’s version is light, airy, and features fresh fruit that isn't bogged down by heavy syrups. Because of its generous portion size, it is a brilliant option for sharing. If you find yourself in the neighborhood close to closing time, you may find the shop quieter, allowing you to browse the remaining selection of pastries and breads with ease. While the lighting is described by some as quite bright and functional, the focus here remains firmly on the quality of the baked goods and the convenience of the service. Whether you are there for a morning croissant or a late-night cheesecake, the combination of affordable luxury and consistent quality makes this Grand Street staple a reliable highlight of the neighborhood.
In a city where options are endless, Paris Baguette manages to bridge the gap between a high-end pâtisserie and a convenient neighborhood café. It remains a go-to for New Yorkers who value great presentation as much as they do a perfectly balanced flavor profile.

I picked up a cheesecake from Paris Baguette Bakery Café for takeaway and was pleasantly surprised. It was very affordable, yet the presentation of the box was lovely and felt thoughtfully done. The cheesecake itself was absolutely delicious; smooth, rich, and perfectly balanced in flavor. I found myself taking my time and enjoying every single bite. A wonderful treat and definitely worth trying again.

Came here close to closing time on a Sunday night and ate a slice of strawberry shortcake (the perfect size to share between two or three people) which was pretty good but did not rock my world. I’m not a fan of the K-mart lighting. They have a wide selection of coffee and desserts. It was pretty quiet and empty because they were about to close. Overall decent experience.

This location is quite busy and offers a fantastic variety of options! I absolutely love all the bread; it’s truly satisfying to enjoy the beautiful creations of such a skilled baker. The prices are pleasantly affordable compared to other bakeries, which is a lovely bonus. However, I think there’s an opportunity to enhance the coffee experience. My cappuccino was a bit too hot and lacked the creamy foam I was hoping for, having a few too many bubbles. I think I’ll opt for an Americano next time! On a brighter note, the staff is very attentive, and it’s clear that the barista is working hard to keep up with the orders. I believe that may be why some details of the coffee preparation were slightly overlooked. While I was seated, I noticed that the steaming didn’t sound quite right, which might suggest that the steamer needs a bit more attention. With some additional training, I’m sure the barista will excel even further. Overall, I appreciate the effort and dedication of the team!

Overall, not a terrible experience. The food was okay. It wasn’t overly good but it was nice. The coffee was made wrong and had to be remade. Staff were happy to assist to remake the coffee. Sandwich was a bit bland.

Massive selections of delicious pastries, their caramel pretzel things are all fantastic, and their fruit is very tasty and fresh, I also highly recommend their peach tea!
