What is worth choosing
When you step into Bakery Boys of New York, the primary recommendation is to dive into their dessert case. The shop has built its reputation on its "delicious desserts," which range from classic Italian pastries to more modern confections. For the local regular, pairing a freshly brewed coffee with one of their artisanal treats is the ultimate neighborhood experience. The atmosphere makes the taste even better; it is the kind of place where you can sit down and truly savor the textures and flavors of a well-made pastry.
Specifically, their Italian cookies are the crown jewels of their production. If you are a fan of traditional flavors, their almond-based cookies are highly sought after. These cookies utilize real almond ingredients to achieve that signature nutty and sweet profile that is a hallmark of high-end Italian baking. For those with food allergies, it is imperative to read the labels carefully, as the bakery is committed to transparency. Their packaging clearly lists ingredients like almond and includes cautionary statements regarding the manufacturing environment, such as "made in a factory that may contain tree nuts/peanuts." This level of detail allows customers to make informed decisions based on their specific health needs.
Beyond the cookies, the bakery’s location in Queens is worth visiting just for the "number one customer" treatment. Compared to other spots across the street or further into Corona, the quality of the coffee and the cleanliness of the environment make it a standout choice for an afternoon break. If you are looking to bring a piece of New York home with you, or if you encounter their products in a grocery store like Harris Teeter, you can expect a product that reflects the high standards of a dedicated Queens bakery. Whether you are choosing a single dessert for yourself or a box of cookies for the family, Bakery Boys of New York offers a reliable and tasty slice of the city’s rich baking tradition.

Bought Italian Cookies at a Harris Teeter. We have a tree nut allergy in our house. I couldn’t believe it when I read the ingredients. “Almond” is listed IN the ingredients, but the label also bears the warning “made in a factory that may contain tree nuts/peanuts.” Terrible. Shame on you, “The Bakery Boys of New York, in Corona NY. Do better.

Bakery Boys of New York absolutely nails it with their sesame cookies!🍪 They’re perfectly balanced — crisp on the outside, tender on the inside, and packed with that deep toasted sesame flavor you just can’t fake or get anywhere else! They’re so good that my father now asks me to ship them down to him in Florida because there’s nothing even remotely close where he lives to get them. Per my father “These are the kind of cookies you don’t forget, and once you’ve had them, everything else feels like a downgrade.”

The cookies I remember to be so soft and melt in your mouth are more expensive and they are hard and no flavor. Very disappointing

The last 3 boxes ive bought over the last couple months down here in raleigh nc, from harris teeter have been overcooked and burnt, a far cry from the soft, melt-in-your-mouth way they used to be.
