What is worth choosing
If you are planning your first visit to La Noventa Bakery Corporation, the absolute standout choice is the legendary Colombian lunch plate. For approximately $11, this meal represents some of the best value you will find in all of Queens. The plate is impressively sized and typically includes a large, flavorful soup, a generous portion of rice, a side dish, and your choice of meat. It is a balanced, hearty, and authentic meal that has become a favorite for local workers and families alike. The quality of the meat and the richness of the soup reflect the traditional "comfort food" style that Colombian cuisine is famous for.
Beyond the savory lunch options, you cannot leave without sampling their fresh baked goods. Because items are constantly being rotated and pulled fresh from the oven, any of their breads or pastries "off the rack" are highly recommended. For those who enjoy a sweet treat, their assorted Colombian pastries pair beautifully with a cup of their strong, traditional coffee. The combination of the warm bread, the lively music in the background, and the friendly interaction with the staff creates a sensory experience that is uniquely Jackson Heights.
Additionally, for those who appreciate the smaller details of a neighborhood gem, keep an eye out for the charming, homemade signs—like the famous "PCR kit" sign (a humorous misspelling of CPR kit)—which only add to the authentic, unpretentious character of the shop. Whether you are coming in after church like many regulars or just stopping by before your grocery shopping, choosing a mix of a savory lunch and a few sweet pastries to take home is the best way to experience everything La Noventa has to offer. It is a place where your dollar goes far, and your stomach leaves full, making it a highly recommended stop for anyone in the New York region.

This place always has off the rack, out of the oven fresh baked goods, their lunch plates are delicious and the music is as much of a morning pick-me-up as their coffee. Their lunch plate is $11 and you get a big soup, rice, a side and meat of your choice. This place is so authentically columbian that I'm not sure how it is to come here and not speak Spanish, but they are really nice and will help you be happy. How authentic, you might ask? So authentic that signs are misspelled, like instead of "cpr kit available " they have a beautifully homemade sign saying "PCR kit available see manage"

A staple in this neighborhood. It’s exactly what a Latin bakery should be. Friendly service, tasty prepared food and treats, inexpensive, reliable. My mom and I like to come after church or before grocery shopping. We’ve never had a bad experience. Everything is tasty and the workers are so kind. I highly recommend stopping by.

Couldn't sit outside with my small dog that was doing absolutely nothing. Demanded a service dog card even though legally they are not allowed to ask for such fictitious items. Won't be coming back here. Notice to its owners: we get it, it's your establishment and you might not like dogs, but don't make up laws and rules that aren't enforceable, especially if the dog was doing absolutely nothing, not even one bark or being a nuisance to anything or anyone and you're outside.
