Ladurée Introduce
Introduction / Overview
For those seeking a refined escape amidst the glass and steel of Manhattan's newest architectural marvel, Ladurée Hudson Yards offers a slice of Parisian history. Since its founding in 1862 on the Rue Royale in Paris, Maison Ladurée has been the global gold standard for the "art de vivre" (the art of living). While many New Yorkers are familiar with the sprawling garden of their SoHo location or the gilded mirrors of the Upper East Side boutique, the Hudson Yards outpost brings this legendary French heritage into a modern, streamlined context. It serves as an elegant sanctuary for shoppers, locals, and commuters who demand high-quality pâtisserie without sacrificing the convenience of a Midtown location.
Ladurée is more than just a pastry shop; it is a cultural icon credited with the invention of the double-decker macaron as we know it today. At Hudson Yards, this rich legacy is preserved through a meticulous attention to detail, from the signature pastel-green packaging to the sophisticated marble counters. The shop manages to capture the whimsical charm of a traditional French tea salon while functioning as a high-end "grab-and-go" café. Whether you are capping off a day of exploring The Edge or looking for a stylish afternoon pick-me-up, this location provides a sensory experience that bridges the gap between old-world Europe and contemporary New York City.
Location and Accessibility
Ladurée is located at 10 Hudson Yards #10001, New York, NY 10001, USA, situated on Level 1 of the premier shopping and dining destination known as The Shops at Hudson Yards. This location is particularly advantageous for local New Yorkers and visitors alike, as it sits at the intersection of Chelsea and Hell's Kitchen, right at the northern terminus of the High Line. The shop is easily accessible via the 7 Subway line at the 34th Street–Hudson Yards station, which is just a few steps away from the main entrance of the complex.
Accessibility is a hallmark of the Hudson Yards development. The building features state-of-the-art elevators, ramps, and wide corridors, ensuring that Ladurée is fully accessible to those with strollers or mobility aids. For those arriving by car, there are convenient drop-off points and parking garages within the complex. Being located on the first floor makes it an ideal first stop for those entering from the street or a perfect final treat before heading back to the subway. The streamlined layout of this specific boutique caters to the brisk pace of New York life, allowing for quick service even during peak hours in the mall.

What is worth choosing
When visiting Ladurée Hudson Yards, the definitive choice is, of course, a curated box of macarons. While the menu frequently rotates with seasonal offerings, the pistachio macaron remains a standout for its vibrant, authentic nut flavor and perfect balance. For those looking for a more adventurous floral profile, the Marie-Antoinette tea-infused macaron offers a delicate blend of citrus and black tea notes that is quintessentially Ladurée. To fully appreciate the "Parisian in New York" experience, local regulars suggest pairing your selection with one of their house chocolate drink specials or the fan-favorite Nutella latte—a rich, velvety beverage that provides a fun and indulgent contrast to the light crispness of the pastries.
If you are looking for something more substantive than a macaron, the "Finger Pastries" are an excellent investment. The Finger Ispahan, with its raspberry, rose, and lychee flavor profile, is a stunning example of French pâtisserie that is as beautiful to look at as it is to eat. For those on the move, the "Eugénie" collection—a crunchy chocolate shell with a melting heart and a shortbread biscuit—offers a delightful, mess-free alternative to the traditional macaron. No matter what you choose, ensure you ask for one of the signature gift boxes; even if the treats are for yourself, the experience of unboxing a Ladurée parcel is part of the luxury you are paying for in this Midtown gem.

I stopped by the Ladurée location in Hudson Yards and it was such a lovely experience. I had a selection of macarons along with one of their specialty Nutella lattes, and everything was absolutely delicious. The macarons were perfectly delicate with that signature crisp exterior and soft, flavorful center that Ladurée is known for. Paired with the Nutella latte—which was rich, smooth, and such a fun treat—it made for the perfect quick pick-me-up. What I really appreciate about this location is that, even though it’s a convenient grab-and-go spot within Hudson Yards, it still maintains the same charm and elegance as the main store in SoHo. The presentation, the service, and the overall feel all reflect the classic Ladurée experience, just in a more streamlined setting. Whether you’re shopping, strolling through Hudson Yards, or simply craving something sweet, this is a great place to stop for a high-quality snack. I’ll definitely be back!

If you’re in Hudson Yards and craving macarons, this is definitely the spot to drop by. We stopped in for an evening dessert and sampled a few flavors — all were delicious, but the pistachio macarons were the standout for us. Pair them with one of their house chocolate drink specials and you’ve got the perfect sweet treat to cap off your day. A delightful little stop for anyone with a sweet tooth!

This is the worst Laduree experience ever. The service is extremely bad, the lady staff is rude. The special lychee signature drink taste weird. The pistachio macaron does not have pistachio flavor

It’s a cute French cafe inside of the shops at Hudson yards. My dessert looked great and the taste was pretty good too. I wish they had a better presentation for eating inside the shop, as it was a bit difficult to eat out of the box and it didn’t look as nice in a photo.

My favorite french café in Manhattan, great atmosphere! It’s a cute little café inside the mall. Manager is very professional and staff are always so welcoming and friendly. Best croissant, pain au chocolat, fresh macarons made in France & cakes. You can also enjoy Lavazza coffee with best desserts in town.
