Fay Da Bakery Introduce
In the bustling heart of Elmhurst, Queens, where the pace of life is dictated by the rhythm of the surrounding subway lines and bus routes, Fay Da Bakery serves as a frequent stop for locals on the move. As part of a well-known chain of bakeries across the New York metropolitan area, the Elmhurst branch caters specifically to the diverse population of this vibrant neighborhood. It is designed for efficiency, offering a wide array of both traditional Asian-style pastries and Western-influenced breakfast items that appeal to a broad demographic of city dwellers looking for a fast and affordable bite to eat.
Fay Da Bakery operates on a model of high-volume service, reflecting the high-energy environment of Broadway. For many residents, it is a familiar landmark that signifies the start of a workday or a convenient place to grab a snack while running errands. The bakery attempts to bridge the gap between classic East Asian baking traditions and the fast-casual needs of a modern New Yorker. While the experience can vary depending on the time of day and specific product selection, its presence remains a staple in the local commercial landscape of the 11373 zip code.
Location and Accessibility
Strategic positioning is one of the most significant advantages of this establishment. Fay Da Bakery is located at 75-08 Broadway, Elmhurst, NY 11373, USA. Situated on a major thoroughfare, it is perfectly placed for the thousands of commuters who traverse Broadway every day. The shop is just steps away from several major transit connections, making it an ideal location for a "grab-and-go" meal before heading into the city or deeper into Queens.
Accessibility via public transportation is excellent. The bakery is located within immediate walking distance of the Elmhurst Av station, which serves the M and R subway lines. Additionally, it is near several bus stops including the Q53-SBS, Q58, and Q60, providing easy access for those traveling throughout the borough. For pedestrians, the bakery features a standard street-level storefront that is easy to navigate. While street parking on Broadway is notoriously difficult and usually metered, the high turnover of the shop means that those in vehicles can sometimes find a quick spot for a rapid pickup, though public transit and walking remain the most efficient ways to reach the door.

What is worth choosing
When visiting Fay Da Bakery in Elmhurst, the primary draw for many is the sheer convenience and the "right" prices. If you are a commuter in a hurry, the American-style breakfast sandwiches are often cited as an excellent value. Ranging between $2.00 and $4.00, these premade options allow you to maintain your schedule without breaking the bank. For those who enjoy the self-service experience, picking up a tray and selecting a few fresh-looking buns can be a satisfying way to customize a quick meal.
However, it is important for consumers to be discerning during their visit. Some local patrons have expressed concerns regarding the freshness of specific items, particularly the savory BBQ pork buns and certain refrigerated cakes. To ensure the best experience, it is generally recommended to visit during peak morning hours when turnover is highest and products are most likely to be at their freshest. Looking for items that have been recently restocked in the display cases can help you avoid textures that may be less than ideal. For those paying with a card, keep in mind that there is a $10.00 minimum for credit and debit transactions, so it may be wise to have cash on hand if you are only stopping in for a single pastry or a quick coffee. While the bakery has faced some criticism regarding consistency, its role as a budget-friendly transit hub continues to make it a frequent stop for the Elmhurst community. If you prioritize speed and low cost for your morning routine, Fay Da's Broadway location provides exactly that.
Fay Da Bakery remains a notable part of the Elmhurst experience for those who value transit proximity and low prices above all else. By understanding the self-service flow and the best times to visit, you can make the most of what this local Broadway staple has to offer. Would you like me to help you find other nearby breakfast options in Elmhurst or perhaps check the transit schedules for the Broadway corridor?

Very disappointed with this bakery. The BBQ pork buns tasted very old and not fresh at all. The dough was sticky and had a terrible texture. I honestly don’t understand how a place with such poor quality is still open. Last time I bought a cake here, the bottom was moldy and it was still being displayed for sale. Is making money more important than customers’ health and safety? This time I came back because I didn’t see the previous staff and thought the quality might have improved, but it was exactly the same. The products tasted expired and low quality. Do not recommend. Please avoid this place.

It's a very nice place to stay with friendly customer service. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, perfect for enjoying a coffee and delicious bread. Breads start at $1.85, and coffee is just $1.50—very affordable prices! You won’t regret visiting this spot. See you all soon!

I ordered a fox cake for my son’s 2nd birthday. The order was made online, and this location was chosen for pick up. The order was ready on time, and the staff showed me what it looked like before i brought it home. It was meticulously made and actually quite delicious. Not overly sweet which is perfect for me. Will 100% look for another reason to order a cute animal cake. Please note, if the animal design has a black color like mine did, it will bleed into the surrounding areas after a day or two. Otherwise perfect.
